The inn has great views of Crested Butte, is walking distance to the main street (restaurants, shops), there is a free shuttle to the ski area. Front desk staff are long-time locals and very knowledgeable about the area, including area hiking/driving recommendations. Great breakfast included--home-made quiche, muffins, fruit, etc--hot tub, washer/dryer. Pets accepted. Would be happy to stay here again.

Great staff. Front desk girl was awesome and helpful. Price for room was reasonable. The first room we were given I am pretty sure had a mold issue. It smelled and there was some bubbling of the paint next to the air conditioner unit- also seemed like some stuff was inside the vents. Was moved to another room- which was... More

We have been staying here for about ten years and it is always the same, which is a good thing. The hotel has a great location, it is quaint and affordable, and the owners are very nice people who do their best to make you feel at home. The morning breakfast is a very nice continental with quiche, pastries, fruit,... More

The sign out front says it all: "Economy + Comfort". However, "economy" is relative to CB prices; at over $100/night, it's definitely not a budget motel. Staff are wonderful- friendly + helpful- and the rooms are clean + basic (thin towels, slight mildew around tub, small bathrooms, not much sink space for toiletries), and more pleasant than your typical Days... Stayed at the Inn for a week during the Wildflower Festival this year. We chose this location since it was convenient to the festival activities (across the street). It was also within walking distance of all restaurants in the downtown area. The shuttle bus pick-up area is just a few steps from the parking lot. There are air conditoners in... More

The wonderful staff made each of us feel welcomed and that wasn’t easily done since there were about 44 of us. The morning breakfast was tasty and varied including lots of fresh fruit. Our group, Vail Club 50, went to Crested Butte for hiking, biking and a little bit of fun. The rooms were clean and adequately appointed. The beds... More

I traveled to Crested Butte in December of 2013 to propose to my then girlfriend, and Old Town Inn was a perfect place for this occasion. The staff were very nice and the night I proposed they surprised us with a couple of roses and amazing cookies. They made me feel welcome and made our stay very special. It's about... More

When I called Old Town Inn to check rates and amenities, Michael answers the phone. His demeanor was warm and pleasant. Michael truly had my best interest at in mind by asking if I had AAA to reduce my rate and suggesting other hotels when I asked about the proximity to Crested Butte Mountain Resort (which is only minutes away).... I have stayed here several times. Each time the service has been superb. I find overall this Inn is very good as excellent is a high bar and this is an older motel with all that entails. The rooms were clean but well used. The breakfast is decent but all carbs. This is just an observation not a complaint. For... More

Just like you want a motel - bed, bath, morning coffee, afternoon snack. It is true, the danish came from a Costco-like place, but they make their own quiche (from a mix, but check the room prices.) no elevator - view is better upstairs. Compared with the prices at other venues - this one is a gem.

Thanks for the nice review. We're glad you enjoyed your stay! I just wanted to clarify that our quiche is made from scratch here and not from a mix. More
