This is the second time we have stayed at the Elk Mountain Lodge. We bring our photo workshops here as a friendly and convenient base. Mike and the staff are always friendly, always accommodating. It is an historic hotel. The beds are comfortable, and the lodge is very convenient to all restaurants, etc. in CB.

We stayed at this inn for a night while traveling from Aspen to Telluride. The town was amazing -- our favorite on the whole trip. The inn was lovely with plenty of areas to relax, and reading material about the area. The room was fine, but more basic than I had expected. But no complaints. Hosts were very helpful about... More

We came to town for the USA Pro Cycling Tour. This was a great find, the view from the room was spectacular. The breakfast was fantastic and great host and hostess. I can't imagine how beautiful it would be with snow all around.

My wife and I enjoyed the West Maroon Pass hike, and since we arent regular hikers were pretty tired at the end. The Lodge was the ideal place to relax. The room was spacious, the staff super friendly, and the lodge common area was comfortable. Nice to be able to have a cocktail before dinner too. Breakfast was fresh blueberry... More

Well, this was our third stop at Elk Mountain Lodge. This time we reserved a room with a king size bed and boy was it nice! Rooms are clean, bathrooms are updated and in all, a comfy cozy place. Stay here.

Loved the history behind this property! The service was great, breakfast delicious, and conversations around the breakfast table were fun. Our bedroom was nice - albeit a bit small, but no problems. The bathroom was very nice and we appreciated our room location. The lodge also had parking spots available which was a huge asset in this snow-filled town! We... More

Located just two blocks off the main drag in Crested Butte, you can't find a better location. The rooms were quaint - and clean. They have everything you need - including a hot tub and Adirondack chairs to take in the views and mountain air. The co-owners are super friendly and knowledgeable, and the breakfast was AMAZING.

Great accommodations, friendly staff, adequate breakfast. This is an older Bed and Breakfast but it has all the amenities you'll need for a cozy stay. Hotel manager, Tracy, went out of her way to help my elderly mom and i appreciate that extra special touch!

Highly recommended - our room was super clean, quiet, and very comfortable (loved the bed). The breakfast is quite extensive and very good. The owner and staff provide wonderful service and personal advice about where to hike, bike and eat dinner. My hubby loved the tiny bar in the evening and being able to get a Colorado micro-brew IPA. Elk Mountain Lodge, Crested Butte, CO We are almost at 8,900 feet above sea level in the Rockies. And I felt it taking our luggage to our room on the second floor! Nice B&B, located a few blocks from downtown and its many restaurants. Nice breakfast the next morning
