I stayed at this motel purely based on price and location. It is an older “highway motel” probably dating back to the 1950’s or 1960’s. It has been renovated, but room sizes and layouts vary. I asked for a quite room and they honored my request by putting me way in the back (see pictures). The TV and internet were... More

If your looking for just a room at an economy rate, this is the place. It wasn't updated, but clean. I would suggest a non-smoking room. The only room left on the days we stayed were smoking, and they reaked! Not the hotel's problem, it was a smoking room. More

The hotel is located on a busy road just south of downtown, with several restaurants within walking distance. The room next to the pool was large, but had a tiny bathroom and an older TV. Everything was clean, but the mirror light did not work. The pool area and the lawn next to it were above average and inviting. At... More

Heed the POOR REVIEWS....This place is run down and NOT in a safe area. Stayed here for the price, and proximity to Balloon Festival. Only good thing, is nice front desk staff. Lobby and room smell like [--]. So if you have allergies or don't want a "pet friendly" room, this is not the place for you. Surrounding area, full... More

Well obviously we have a disgruntled customer here. Who chose to post negative comments about our business rather than contacting the hotel directly to alert us to what room they were in, or their name. In the editorial tradition, generally you need to put your name down in order to slander a person or business. We were full all nights... More

We chose this inn for its location. My husband was there for business and my 12 year old and I decided to tag along. The first thing that attracted us was the grounds. Everything was clean and green. The outdoor pool was a very sparkling blue and quite refreshing after a three hour car trip with no air conditioning! Our... More

Thank you for your input. I think odor is huge. We noticed a variety of smells in several rooms whether it be from a prior guest smoking or a pet or cooking. We have addressed the problem by appointing a person in charge of smells. We also established a schedule for getting all rooms ozoned on a far more frequent... More

Located in an older area, somewhat in decline, surrounded by other budget motels. Neighborhood was quiet at night. We walked to dinner without safety concern. Desk staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very basic and I did not partake, we brought our own coffee and filters for in room brewing. King room was spacious, but the bathroom tiny with... More

We were looking for a Choice Hotel near Manitou and this is what they recommended. We chose a room with a Jacuzzi. The hotel is on a very busy street. We tried to take an afternoon nap and failed due to traffic noise. The night was not much better. We were awakened by a train, a motorcycle, sirens and trucks.... More
