I was a guest of Jeep at the 2012 X games and they put us up the the Silverwood Hotel at Snowmass just outside of Aspen. We had a wonderful stay there. The room was clean, staff in all areas were friendly. It was interesting talking to some of the staff working there from foreign countries on work visas. Personally,... More

We stayed at the Silverwood over Labor Day Weekend. I was a little aprehensive about cleanliness of the rooms after reading some of the reviews, but this was not an issue. We had a nice, clean room with a king bed. Part of the reason I booked this hotel was the raving reviews about the free made-to-order breakfast; however, we... More

We decided to go to the Springs at the last minute and were having a hard time finding decent hotels that weren't booked (there was some big athletic event in town.) Since we were staying for 5 days, we wanted something a little better than a budget hotel but didn't want to break the bank either. For us, the Silverwood... More

and I don’t think it deserves a 3-star rating. Checking in took a while, because it seemed that everyone in front of me had some issue. When we arrived in our “newly renovated” room, it didn’t appear “new” at all. The beds and furniture seemed “newer” and the tub and shower area looked redone, but the wallpaper, carpeting and rest... We spent 5 days in Estes Park, and then traveled to Colorado Springs. We were pleasantly suprised to see how nice the Silverwood was. Compared to the other hotels in the area, it was by far one of the better choices. It is very close to all the fun tourist type attractions, and close to alot of restaurants. The on... More

We just returned from Colorado Springs where one of my children competed in the State Games of America. The city itself was great, but the hotel we chose was......in a word....seedy. I was so surprised after reading all the positive reviews. I would have left, but all the hotels in the area were booked due to the State Games. First... More

We did a last min. search and found this gem. We read some of the reviews and for the price we had to find out for ourselves. Room was great, very large and well taken care of. The morning made to order breakfast was great! Omelets were the best! Evening Happy hour was also a great time to have. I... More

This was our first family vacation to Colorado Springs. I chose the Silverwood based on the reviews listed here. At first I was not happy with the location, but after running around all day, it was to nice to be in a quiet location and so close to Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, Pikes Peak, everything was an easy... Hair in tub and bottle cap and lint under the sink. Hall was musty smelling and very noisy. I lost an earring and have tried for 4 days to get someone to respond to my inquiry about it. Very disappointed in this motel due to the ratings I read before we went. The only good thing was the breakfast and... More

Minus: cleanliness of the room, especially the bathroom. Hair in the sink and tub. Bathroom floor dirty. Room seemed ready for a remodel. Plus: great breakfast and friendly staff. Breakfast includes "made to order" omelets, eggs, pancakes with bacon and sausage. More
