The worst motel I have ever stayed in. I woke up in the middle of the night having an allergic reaction to the mold and I was going to leave I called the office all night no answer. I went to the office could not get an answer.had to stay to ask for coupon off next room at other locations

We stayed here since we planned to take the 8:00 AM Cog Railway to Pikes Peak; its about 15-20 minutes from the place, so close by. The hotel is cheap; the rooms are pretty shabby, the morning breakfast is terrible with a few pieces of stale bread. But the location is great; so if you are looking to see the... More

My partner and I vacation in NM a lot and arrive in DEN at DIA Intl Airport. Normally we drive all the way down to Taos,NM, but this time decided to stay en route to check out Colorado Springs. As my partner still smokes we looked for a smoking establishment. Econo-lodge offered smoking rooms at an expensive rate of $79... More

When you make a choice of this kind, the primary motivation is to minimize the money and time you spend there. Ours was a transit stop with three grand-kids in tow on our way up to Crested Butte, and it worked perfectly well to store our luggage and get in late enough to hit the beds. Given that it cost... We stayed there over Memorial Day for one night on May 24th. The photo doesn't show that it is surrounded by houses. No resturants nearby. The carpet was very stained to our room and old. The motel is old. We thought the walls needed to be cleaned and the hairdryer only worked for a short time. Slim pickings on the... More

Well this place is definitely retro, but its also very cheap, has free parking and is close to downtown. However, the internet situation is unclear, whether it works or not, I'll never know, but I was only there for one night. For a night, passing through, having a meeting at the University the next day, it was sufficient. We are... More

I was very surprised when I read some of the reviews about this hotel. I have been here for a few days now while waiting for an apartment and I have never had better service anywhere. The first time I stepped through the door I was greeted with a smile and careful consideration to make sure I had the accommodations... More

Excellent location, very close to Colorado College and "downtown" Colorado Springs. First, the rooms do not open into internal hallways. The room doors open to the exterior of the building. Just be aware of that from a security perspective. In addition, the rooms all face the parking lot, increasing the potential for noise. There always seemed to be people standing... More
