Our room was very comfortable and the staff made us feel at home. The hotel is obviously older and the rooms are small, but the current owner/manager has done a lot to tastefully update the rooms and he and his staff are very welcoming. We appreciated the owner's commitment to sustainability. The price was very fair for a tourist destination.... More

We stayed just one night in this lovely and clean cottage and found it very comfortable. All rooms (except the bathroom) are spacious; the staff very friendly and helpful. It is along a busy street, but the patios/outside seating areas feel private. Having the room air conditioner going helped to block out street noise. Safeway and fast food is close... More

We stayed in the cottage for two weeks this spring while attending a bicycle maintenance class in the city. The space was perfect, being right across the street from the grocery store and not far from the old city, as well as super close to our class. The owners were so welcoming and helpful. Ask for restaurant recommendations- you will... More

Like many reviews, the amenities are different from standard chain hotels. It is very close to the road and can get noisy with road construction and traffic, we had a fan. The hotel is located between Manitou and Old Colorada City, near pikes peak and garden of gods. The owner lives on site and can quickly respond to issues. The... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. It is very retro so if you are looking for a fancy place this is not it. We had a guest suite with a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a pull-out sofa sleeper. The owners were perfect...very helpful and gracious but did not bother you unless you needed something or... I was in Colorado Springs for work and loved coming home to San Ayre's sense of home each night. The rooms are each unique and the little extra touches make a big difference; it's also very comfortable. The owner, Mike, is friendly, accommodating and invested in you having a positive experience. It's located right at near the entrance road up... More

It's got a great retro feel without the retro smell. It's reasonably priced, very clean, and the owners are really nice people. The mountain suite is where we like to stay: It's up top of the hotel, and has two bedrooms, two baths, a kitchen and a living room, as well as a large rooftop patio. The bed is really... More

Took our 4 grandsons and their parents for a little weekend getaway and it was a perfect fit for us. Boys could run around a bit and not bother anyone. Loved cooking our own meals in the cute little kitchens and grilling out back. Owner was super nice! Nice homey feel and great view

Hubby and I took our family of 4 grandsons and their parents for a spring break getaway and this was a perfect fit for us. A place for the boys to run around and not be in the typical hotel setting. Loved being able to cook our own meals and have a place to relax without having to fight for... More

This hotel was amazing. The gentlemen that was helping us was very nice and helped us with concerns. Great views. Clean inside the room and felt safe. Only downside was parking but was able to deal with since it was the off season. I would recommend parking in the back. The top floor suite had a balcony with chairs great... More
