Absolutely LOVED this place and can't wait to come back! My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights in the Colorado Cottage the first week of January, which felt like our home away from home. Mike was waiting for us when we arrived and was so helpful and pleasant. The location is PERFECT...right in between Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City.... More

My son is stationed in Colorado springs but we had never been there so we decided to go visit him for Thanksgiving. I was looking for some place that would be big enough for myself, two college aged girls and my son so he could stay with us too. And I also wanted a place where I could cook meals... More

I say revival, because it was not a restoration. They did not restore the interiors to a 50's look, but instead took this unique properly into the 21st century while leaving portions of the 50's intact. We were concerned about the noise from being right on the main street, but it was no problem for either myself, the deep sleeper,... More

I had read the reviews before booking and although some people commented on the noise others said it wasn't bad. Well, it was very loud. Even at night, when the traffic was much less, you could still hear cars/trucks as they passed, loud enough to keep me awake. The good things - the room was very, very clean. We loved... More

My wife and I stayed at Hotel San Ayre for the first three days of our vacation in Colorado. The location was great with Cave of the Winds, Garden of the gods, Pike's Peak and numerous other attractions just minutes from the hotel. It's also within walking distance of dozens of unique restaurants and shops. The main problem with the... More

Love supporting local businesses. We spent one night here for a class in Colorado Springs. Place was spotless, quaint, and well-appointed. The wifi worked, the water was hot, and the bed firm. Mike texted us in the early afternoon to let us know that the room was ready, which I found thoughtful. I have to remark on the noise because... More

The owner is very friendly, he and his family have just redone the place. It is very clean and comfortable. Comfy bed and cool temps easily obtained in the room. Right on the main road to Manatou, so very accessible.

We stopped here for a night on our way to Fort Collins and couldn't have picked a better hotel in the Colorado Springs area. After looking at all of the chain hotels in town and reading some unsettling reviews, we eventually chose Hotel San Ayre and were very impressed. The owner was out of the office when we arrived but... More

The owner Mike stayed late to check us in because our flight was delayed. He also gave us the name of a great BBQ place that was open late as well. We stayed in the suite with the deck and when we woke up in the morning the view of Pikes Peak was amazing. The place was very clean and... More

Our small room was clean. We feed deer in the courtyard. We walked two blocks to starbucks for coffee in the morning and it was a 2 minute drive to old colorado city for evening dining. We did not hear the traffic from the major street. The price of our room was very economical.
