Even in mid-winter, when the Inn is quiet, it's beautiful there. Although we had driven by it before, we'd never been inside. The downstairs common areas are huge; one room, the library, has a rock fireplace, plus computers -- and another, a glassed-in area that served as the casino area in the 20th century, is warm and comfortable. This inn has a lot of history, which was quite interesting. The rooms are large with high ceilings; big windows with period glass. The floors are extremely squeeky (need to be screwed down). Our host, Craig, was very friendly and did a great job making us feel welcomed. We had complementary wine and quesadilla, and Craig baked some delicious chocolate/chocolate... more

I had the opportunity to stay at this lovely inn the second week in March of 2008. I was attending a business conference over at the Broadmoor and was looking for a place to stay where I would not become a mere statistic. Both Martin and Craig went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and welcome. I... more

After an extremely unsatisfying stay in Evergreen, CO (rodents, thin walls, scant hot water), our stay at the Cheyenne Cañon Inn was refreshingly pleasant and significantly less expensive. Our afternoon wine and quesadillas were excellent, as well as the lively discussion among the guests. We tried a new restaurant upon the recommendation of the owner's brother and found the food... more

I love love love love love the Cheyenne Canyon Inn. I haven't even left & I have already recommended it to several friends who live in the area. Over all, it feels like home. I felt warm as soon as I got here. Welcomed with a friendly greeting & given several options regarding rooms- as I had messed up my... more

We booked 7 of the rooms for a family reunion. There is not one negative thing I can say about this bed and breakfast. We had seen pictures on the internet but we were a little apprehensive until we arrived. The view was awesome. I felt I was hidden away on top of a mountain but in reality we were... more

I recently had the honor of spending a long weekend at The Cheyenne Canon Inn as a wedding coordinator. The Inn is picturesque, charming and warm! The bridal party arrived Thursday and was greet ed and welcomed by the staff of the Inn. Martin accomodated our requests with great care. The wedding ceremony was in the mountains with the reception... more

My husband and I stayed at the Cheyenne Canon Inn in Colorado Springs in May of 2008 as part of a road trip through Colorado. If you are looking for a pristine and perfect B&B with everything exactly in its' specifically perfect spot, this is not it. However, if you're looking for a fun, quirky, rustic and historically unique experience... more

Having spent 3 nights at the Cheyenne Canon Inn last week, I wish now I had read every review, or been able to read between the lines as I agree with both good and bad comments made by previous reviewers, as follows: - the location is wonderful, inside the park with plenty of trails close by, and gives a completely... more
