First, while it's address is Garden of the God's Road, it is really Right ON Interstate I-25 overlooking the freeway, Applebee's and a vacant fast food drive-thru. There is a pool but no hot tub and the pool is only warm enough to swim in a couple of months a year. The room is spacious except the shower which had... More

The main reason for my visit to Colorado Springs was for business but I wanted to squeeze in some sight-seeing. The hotel was right on for both. Work took me to downtown Colorado Springs and then farther north. So the location was central to both the downtown/southern parts of Colorado Springs and the northern parts of Colorado Springs, and very... More

Hyatt Place in Colorado Springs was fine for a night while traveling for business but I can't say I would make a weekend out of it. Staff was very helpful, and the rooms were fine - clean and spacious is about all I was looking for. The free breakfast is convenient but as mentioned in other reviews eating space is... More

I know students can be a liability for hotels, but honestly! The front desk clerks, both at night when I checked in AND in the morning when I checked out, both saw my road bike (which I preferred to not leave in my car overnight), learned my age, and immediately became excruciatingly condescending! Yes, I know why you would need... More

When we arrived, I was unsure of my choice because the landscaping outside was all dead and the place looked unkept. But, the hotel is actually nice. Some of the common areas could use some tidying up, but overall it was ok. Staff was great to work with, very friendly and helpful, but they really could dress a little more... More

Staff were really friendly and the rooms were overall pretty clean. The breakfast area is a tight fit but they have it spill over into the lobby area to accomendate. It's just down the road from the Garden of the Gods and right off of I 25 so a really good location. You can't open the windows in the room... More

We recently stayed at the Hyatt Place with a group of wheelchair athletes. The staff was great in meeting our needs. The hotel is lovely inside; warm colors, nice atmosphere. Our accessible room was very large and well laid out. The breakfast buffet was very good; nice choice of hot options and plenty of items with protein, unlike many buffets... More

We spent two nights at the Hyatt Place while visiting friends in Colorado Springs. Overall, the hotel was better than we expected and we would certainly return. Our room was quite large and the furnishings were nice, and the breakfast buffet was a step up from what you usually find at a mid-priced hotel (several kinds of fresh fruit, yogurt,... More
