A wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of the real wold. The setting is serene, food is outstanding, service is impeccable, fishing is fantastic, horseback riding was scenic. The accommodations were top notch.

They surely know how to do everything right - wilderness has a new meaning .. from the magnificent and relaxing mountain setting, the cozy, luxurious cabins, unobtrusive but superb service from a great staff and food that is deserving of 5 stars. We meet with a few couples every few years at different "special" places and we all agreed this... More

My wife and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here and are we ever glad we did. This is one of three "Wilderness Experiences" the world-famous Broadmoor offers (including Cloud Camp and Fish Camp). Other than location, there's nothing wilderness about it. We prefer the term "glamping" or "glamorous camping." Sarah, in reservations, recommended we stay in the Lakeside Cabin... More

what a find....this is a great place to relax or be as active as you want. Horseback riding, hiking great trails, fishing (two well stocked lakes) and the eating----the food was sensational. The staff was well trained and couldn't do enough for us. We especially liked one of the guides his name was Light (mother must have had a tough... More

I've never visited such an idyllic mountain paradise. The cabins are both charmingly historic and updated with modern conveniences (a beautiful huge shower, a cozy gas fireplace with a rocking chair, and the most comfortable bed). We spent a week at the ranch, and loved that we could choose to adventure or just nap. The food was some of the... More

My wife and I visited a couple of weeks after the opening of the Ranch. We stayed in the Cedar Cabin, one of 13 on the property. It's a little pricey, but if you want to get away from urban life in downtown Colorado Springs and stay nearby, this is the place to come. You take a car from the... More

We stayed for two nights in September, the second night occurring when the rainstorms engulfed Colorado and floodwaters came calling at The Ranch at Emerald Valley. The staff was amazing. Before the floodwaters arrived? The Ranch at Emerald Valley was an outstanding experience. The grounds were stunning - the horseback riding spectacular - the ponds were clear as glass and... More

We stayed one night at the Broadmoor and then were shuttled to Emerald Valley [about 45 min into the mountains]. It is a bumpy ride! The setting is amazingly beautiful - wildflowers, lakes, and mountains. The cabins are highest quality, lodge decor, and guests want for nothing. The service is incredible and very personal, as the staff is able to... More

We had a wonderful visit to the Ranch at Emerald Valley! It was glamping at its best. All the activities we love to do as a family in the outdoors (fly fishing, horseback riding, hiking, canoeing, archery, horseshoes) but with gourmet food and a beautiful cabin. We took our two elementary-school-aged children with us and though they were the only... More

After 2 nights at the Broadmoor, we transferred up the mountain to The Ranch at Emerald Valley. The area is amazing. I noticed when I check in that the cabin was close to the fire pit area. I was assured that things were quite and that we would not be disturbed. We did have one night that a couple decided... More
