We really enjoyed our stay at these unique cabins. Staff is VERY sweet and friendly. Grounds are well kept and pool was great! This is a older establishment so if you want new and fancy this is not for you. I love the mountain cabin feeling so these vintage cute clean cabins were perfect for us! A pretty river runs... More

As others have said this is a modest, nicely rustic, older motor lodge. It is clean and well maintained. What makes it special is the setting and the hospitality. It is set back from the street along a stream, the grounds are have nice spaces with lots of trees. The cabins and patios let you spread out and relax in... More

First, the people were fantastic. My A-frame was super clean and super cute. It was also well furnished. I never actually slept in the bed because the TV was out in the "living room". The futon out there was confortable enough. Free use of their bbq pits, pool, pavillion, and ice. Free urn coffee in the morning. So the not-so-bad:... More

We chose a duplex cabin by the creek. They are very friendly, and have a picnic area close to the pool which you can barbque. The rooms are small but cozy. There is a bridge over the creek to an adjoining Mexican Restaurant. Very close to Garden of the Gods, and Academy Riding Stables.

I love the location and will definitely stay in Manitou Springs again. The people that run Timber Lodge are very nice and very helpful. The cabins are a tad tired but it was a nice stay and adequate for what we needed. They need a hot tub and they need to heat their pool a bit more. One of the... More

Five of us shared Cabin 18. It was clean, pleasantly furnished, and quaint. My wife and I shared the master bed room, my daughter and fiance the other bedroom and my 16 yr old son stayed on the futon. We had plenty of room to socialize, cook in the kitchen and play cards at the big kitchen table. The cabin... More

If you're looking for a Mariott, go to a Mariott. I promised my 5 year old son a trip to the mountains with a stay in cabins, and we LOVED our stay at the Timber Lodge. The staff were very friendly and the dogs made my son feel at home. Our cabin was clean and neat with classic mountain furnishings.... More

The cabins are adorable on the outside and shabby cheap motel on the inside but clean. The campground is located between 2 very busy roads... I was hoping for a little more primitive. Lots of wild life. My son loved playing in the creek. It says the pools heated... I'm thinking they mean by the sun. We loved staying here...... More

Well this place is one that will take you back to the 60's when multi unit lodging was a standard. This is not your national chain in any way, and that is exactly why we chose it. We were driving through Manitou Springs looking for a hotel. We were heading to the Comfort Suites when we happened to cross The... More

We stayed in a cabin and also had an A frame next door. It's not fancy, kind of reminds you of a 60's/70's era cabin but it was clean and provided for us what we needed. The location is close to eating, shopping and site seeing. The downside's were that in our unit the kitchen was about 5x5 and the... More
