We stayed two nights at Hughes Hacienda in the downstairs Hacienda suite and loved it there. The highlight was the breakfasts, especially the blueberry and pecan pancakes - oh my! Although it's located about 10 minutes south of Colorado Springs, it is well worth the drive for the view we had at breakfast and the large suite. My husband is... More

The Hughes Hacienda is located on a ridge overlooking ruddy cliffs and forested slopes. The patio, garden terrace, and hiking trail helped us to fully enjoy the beautiful location. There are only two guest rooms, on different levels, and our sense of quiet privacy was enhanced by separate breakfast seating. Wayne prepared a fabulous breakfast, his own recipe. We felt... More

Hughes Hacienda was the perfect place for me to get away and decompress. I hiked the property with my camera, soaked in the whirlpool, relaxed to the instrumental music & generally let go during my one night stay. Breakfast was delicious and I felt pampered by all the beauty. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed at Hughes Hacienda for three nights at the beginning of our honeymoon. We loved it. It was out of the way from the main hustle and bustle (which could be a good or bad thing) and it was set on 19 beautiful acres. He has a hiking trail through his property that was fun to... More

We were in Colorado Springs to hike. This bed and breakfast was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and different each morning. We loved sitting outside for breakfast and enjoying all the different birds who were flying about. Mr. Hughes was a gracious host and we would return here often.

My daughter and I stayed at the Hacienda for five nights. We didn't want to leave and hope to return. It was amazing~~the view was spectacular, the Hacienda is immaculate and attention is paid to every detail and we have never had such delicious breakfasts. Carol was out of town when we visited. Wayne was very helpful, kind and friendly.... More

This was our first time to a B&B and we could not be more happy!! The owners are wonderful and amazingly willing to help you in anyway. The food was exquisite. Never had a better breakfast. There is not one thing negative I can say. This will be a trip we take every year. Colorado Springs has so much to... More

We had the pleasure of spending the past weekend at this beautiful, relaxing, peaceful B & B. Wayne and Carol could not have been more kind or made us feel more at home, not to mention the absolutely incredible breakfasts. We will recommend Hughes Hacienda to friends and family every chance we get and look forward to visiting again.

Hughes Hacienda is more than what we ever expected in a B&B! We Central Texans are hard to please when it comes to overnight accommodations. We are "culinary snobs", "princess in the pea" sleepers, require quiet surroundings and great scenery and adore interesting and lively conversation! Wayne and Carol are gracious hosts with a flair for entertaining and exceptional in... More

Went down to Colorado Springs for a weekend. This B&B is about 7-10 miles south of town out in the foothills. The setting is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. It is in the style of a true hacienda. There is a beautiful enclosed courtyard that you walk through with a fountain running (at least at that time of year it was... More
