Husband and I stayed in cabin 29 for the weekend. It was clean, cozy and comfortable. Made reservations and was quickly accommodated. Staff were nowhere to be found the entire stay but that wasn't an issue; was quiet and peaceful. On our last night a storm blew in and we received several inches of fresh powder! It was amazing &... Stayed at Thunder Mountain Lodge recently. Not a bad place but it needs work. Main complaint was with how the owner operates the place. The owner "Mark" is a nice guy....but needs to do a little follow up with his customers to get a feeling of what he is doing right and what needs to be improved. 1. There was... More

The staff at Thunder Mountain Lodge was great. We were treated like family throughout our stay. The cabin was clean and cozy and the snowmobiling was epic. The ride in and ride out access to thousands of acres of the best snowmobiling in the country is amazing. I highly suggest you use the in house snowmobile guide Ryan to show... More

I stayed in a newly remodeled cabin and was very comfortable during my stay. Quiet heater that kept the room comfortable with no fuss, felt like home. Worked well for the 3of us, though there was room for another person. The cabins are nice and clean and where else can you get this kind of getaway at 10,000 feet in the... More

Spent 5 days at the Thunder Mountain lodge with a group of friends from all over the west. This place is a true powder hounds paradise. Miles after endless miles of the finest Colorado champagne powder and terrain. After spending the day in the powder nothing felt better then returning back to the lodge for a hot meal, a hot... More

Just got home from the TML and wow the newly remodeled cabins are great! Whether your a trail or a back country rider you have it all right out the door of your cabin. I was there for a snowmobile trip with 9 of my friends and everything from the initial reservations throughout our entire trip was nothing but smooth... More

Went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed during our snowmobiling trip. Even opened up his heated shop for us to work on our sleds. Cabins were nice and clean....staff... More

Stayed here on a snowmobiling trip with a group of guys in January 2013 for 3 nights. We arrived around 9am and the lodge was locked up and no one around. When they did arrive, they told us they wold have our permits for our snowmobiles and they did not. They said they had fuel, but since no one was... More

I stayed at Thunder Mountain Lodge for 5 nights in January to experience some awesome backcountry snowmobiling with a group of 5 guys. This was my first visit to TNL and it will not be my last. The owner, Mark and his staff were overly accomodating and made sure our stay was perfect. We stayed in Cabin #23 which had... More

We rented a cabin for the weekend to get away for some peace and quiet. The cabin was very clean and neat but we were told that there would be a hot plate and electric griddle to cook on for breakfast but werent told when we checked in that we had to ask at the desk for it. When we... More
