Had an INCREDIBLE weekend at Avalanche Ranch Cabins & Antiques. The hot springs were amazing, the scenery breathtaking and the staff warm & welcoming! The cabins were the perfect size to be comfortable and had everything we needed, including plush, dream-inducing beds. We loved meeting animals everywhere we went - the lama, the horses, the ranch dogs and even newborn... More

We visited the restaurant earlier this year and were disappointed with our meal and the customer service. We made complaints and almost 4 months later after being promised many call backs, we have not received a response. Avalanche do a great steak and an amazing tiramisu. However, poor customer service overrides everything else in our opinion. Very disappointing.

You seem to have the wrong business, for we are not a restaurant and do not have food service at our facility. We are a Cabin & Hot Spring Resort. More

We really like the small cabins at Avalanche ranch. Most of the cabins sleep 4 or less, so if you have a family of 5 or 6 you may need to call and try to see if you can fit everyone in one cabin. The cabins we have been in have always been clean. Each cabin has a theme. Home... More

On a weeks adventure in Colorado, we came upon Avalanche Ranch - what a great find! Everything was just right. Great people. Neat store, and antiques store. Great cabin, comfy bed with a great view, wood stove that kept us warm. Excellent hot springs, and Facilities. Highly recommend staying!

We spent a Sunday morning at the pools. The bathroom and dressing rooms were very clean as they have been in the past. (About a year ago). The snakes were probably sleeping for the winter because we didn't see any but I seem to recall seeing one in the summer. Personally I like all types of nature and these snakes... More

Avalanche Ranch surpassed my expectations. I traveled with 2 young teens,a 24 yr old son, and my husband and the Cabin was able to comfortably accommodate our needs. We were welcomed by a plate of cookies to a warm clean and cozy cabin(#12). The kitchen was well appointed, bathroom sufficient and the decor was kitschy. The cabins wear their many years... More

Three hot tubs with spring water of different temperatures. Waterfall in the lowest pool is attractive feature. You can get under it and behind it. Change rooms are too small for the number of visitors. We did not stay overnight there. Worth a visit.

There's a thick, crusty chasm between charming rustic and just plain dirty. At these nightly rates, a clean and maintained cabin shouldn't be too much to ask. The pools are quite beautiful, but that's as far as it goes. The cabin had both dead and live mice and was overall worn down and neglected. The ranch has barn animals on... More

I did not stay overnight but went to soak for the afternoon. The grounds are lovely. The pools are small and nice. Natural landscaping is perfect. My complaint is the state of the dressing room and bathroom. They are seriously gross. There were ants everywhere in the dressing room, empty soap containers but no soap in the shower, slimy broken... More

This is my new favorite place to stay in Colorado. Three of us stayed two nights in a tidy two-bedroom cabin that had a kitchen with a good stove and fridge plus decent knives and pots, big dining table, comfortable beds, good shower, and artwork with a sense of humor. Everything worked. We used the hot springs (in my view... More
