Pros: comfortable and clean room/beds and bathroom. Friendly and apologetic staff. Good location. Inexpensive. Cons: you'd think they'd have a cooler with bags of ice or cold water to offer guests. Nope! They seem to not have a professional pool maintenance person b/c there's a note posted that if you have dyed blonde hair that the chemicals will turn it... More

The rooms are nice and clean. On the backside is an old dirty building and you see nothing out of the window. The breakfast with fresh waffles was very good, but in the small breakfastroom on sunday morning was a terrible chaos.

Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and all you need and you also get a very nice free breakfast. Only issue was the pool/hot tub area. Definitely needs a face lift as the paint and cement on both pool and hot tub pealing off.

Was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the hotel was. Beds were actually good. TV was functional but a little snowy depending on channel. Hotel and rooms were quiet despite how busy it was. Convenient location as well. Breakfast was decent. Ask for a main floor room if you have lots of suitcases. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room had microwave... More

Our family had doctor appointments in the area and needed to stay 2 nights for a reasonable price. We made reservations at this motel. When we drove up and saw the outside of this Econo Lodge, we were afraid it would be dirty inside since it was run-down looking outside, so we asked to see our room before we paid... More

The hotel is not too bad. The cleaning lady was very nice and did a great job. My issue is with the pool. I sat in the warm hot tub for about 10 minutes, then showered. The bottom half of my blonde hair is still blue. This was two days ago. When I brought up the issue to the front... More

My sister and I decided to go to the hot tub so we get in and it is very cold and the paint is chipping and disgusting. So we get out immediately and shower. While in the shower (which was also cold water) I realize my hair is blue and so is my sisters. We go to tell the front... More

We wanted a place close to the train station and city center as we knew we'd be checking out the brewpub and then having wine on the train with dinner. With limited choices and not wanting to spend big $ I booked the EconoLodge and it while certainly not a high-class place it fit our needs for the night just... More

This was one of the nicer Econo Lodges I have stayed at. I used my "Choice points" for an overnight. The bathroom was fresh, the shower head high enough that I could stand under, and the bath tube did not flex when you stand in it! The location is great if you are riding the Royal Gorge RR (walking distance... More

The hotel was located close to all of our activities. Over all the hotel was clean. You can tell its an older hotel. Lots of wear. For the price in that area it was good. Indoor pool and sauna. The walls were clean. The pools needs some TLC. Breakfast was basic. Yogurt would of been nice as an option. We... More
