I love this place! Unique, funky, true Americana right here... The trailers are all beautifully restored, decorated and stocked with vintage housewares. The cabins are cute andcomfy. The owners are super nice & helpful (unless you are not a registered guest & trespassing inappropriately), and they are always ready with a cold drink and a word of advice about seeing... More

My mother, daughter, and I stayed at the Starlite Classic Campground for two nights during their Classic Colorado Campout vintage trailer rally. I had my vintage 1969 RoadRunner camper trailer for my daughter and myself, and my mom stayed in one of the campground's vintage trailers available for rent (the 'Flamingo'). We had a fabulous time, the campground is located... More

We stayed one night in a retro camper,The Lucy. It had great vintage 1960s details and charm. The bathroom was a short walk away. Sylvia was welcoming and even gave us each a free game of vintage pinball while we waited out the rain to check into the unit. We played horseshoes and took a spin on the community bikes.... More

This is the cutest campground ever, but don't just wander onto the property! The lady who runs the place is the meanest person on the planet and she will literally run you over with her Segway to get you off the property. We weren't even trespassing... my friend was wanting to inquire about renting a place there. She got out... More

Dear GoldenMom80525, Thank you for taking the time to express yourself regarding my campground. I'm sorry that you had such a bad experience here. We have spent many hours and dollars in an effort to let visitors know what to expect. If you take just a moment to read (and follow) the signs at the entrance, you'll have an excellent... More

Tent camping is what we came to do.. We stayed two nights.. In number 12. traffic for tent camping was loud. Lots of park lighting. Very rustic.. Mini golf is more like ghetto golf.. Including the pool was a little bit scary... Nice staff they were wonderful.. We came for the kids but found ourselves away on the road exploring... More

There were 8 of us for a camping weekend - 3 couples in trailers and we were in a tent. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Nice little store and clean showers and restrooms. Beautiful view from our campsites! Only complaint is the road noise in our tent, but I'm sure it probably didn't bother those in the campers... More

Camped here 4 nights in motorhome. Added 2 nights after enjoying ourselves so much in the area. Pull through site with view of the mountains right through our front windshield. Good utilities, including wi fi. High desert site, so little grass. Owners were very friendly, and maintained campground daily. Good dog park. Wonderful restored classic cars and trailers parked strategically... More

We were referred to this place by some friends and looked at the website. It didn't do the Starlite justice. What a fantastic campground that is amazingly family friendly with wonderful owners. Vintage campers, putt putt golf, a pool, campfires, whitewater rafting and the Royal Gorge bridge near by. Great times and a great facility.

We stayed at the Starlite Classic Campground in July for one night. The site was shaded, spacious and level. The bathrooms were clean. The owners, Sylvia and Larry, are great people and work hard to provide a fun unique experience. Although we did not use the pool, it looked clean and inviting. Sylvia gave us a couple of great suggestions... More

My husband, our dogs and I spent June 27th & 28th at this campground in a modern 20' travel trailer and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Sylvia came out and greeted me in the truck while hubby was checking in, at this point I knew we had made the perfect choice for our trip! The attention to detail is amazing, from... More
