There were 8 of us for a camping weekend - 3 couples in trailers and we were in a tent. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Nice little store and clean showers and restrooms. Beautiful view from our campsites! Only complaint is the road noise in our tent, but I'm sure it probably didn't bother those in the campers... More

Camped here 4 nights in motorhome. Added 2 nights after enjoying ourselves so much in the area. Pull through site with view of the mountains right through our front windshield. Good utilities, including wi fi. High desert site, so little grass. Owners were very friendly, and maintained campground daily. Good dog park. Wonderful restored classic cars and trailers parked strategically... More

We were referred to this place by some friends and looked at the website. It didn't do the Starlite justice. What a fantastic campground that is amazingly family friendly with wonderful owners. Vintage campers, putt putt golf, a pool, campfires, whitewater rafting and the Royal Gorge bridge near by. Great times and a great facility.

We stayed at the Starlite Classic Campground in July for one night. The site was shaded, spacious and level. The bathrooms were clean. The owners, Sylvia and Larry, are great people and work hard to provide a fun unique experience. Although we did not use the pool, it looked clean and inviting. Sylvia gave us a couple of great suggestions... More

My husband, our dogs and I spent June 27th & 28th at this campground in a modern 20' travel trailer and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Sylvia came out and greeted me in the truck while hubby was checking in, at this point I knew we had made the perfect choice for our trip! The attention to detail is amazing, from... More

More than just a RV park! Great views of the Royal Gorge, clean facilities, walking distance to River Runners rafting - 10 minutes outside of Canon City. We stayed two nights in the Tiki Hut ('73 Winnebago) on our way across Colorado. Bedding / Dishes all provided, including the old stove top coffee pot - Way cool retro. Get your... More

We just rented three retro cool trailers at Starlite for a Girls Glamping weekend and had a blast. Sylvia and Wallie, the proprietors, do such a great job at making everyone feel welcome and giving their all for a comfortable, fun, safe visit. This is my second trip to Starlite. First time was with two tweens in the Tiki Bago... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending the night in the Shaggy, a 1970 something restored camper, adorable!! The perfect Innkeepers for this delightful campground, Sylvia and Larry, made our stay. Ready with firewood and coffee! Thanks…. Relaxed and beautiful…bring your binoculars. lock your phone in the car it can be 1977 again….

We just returned home after a 2-Day stay with Larry and Shirley at The Starlite. A fun little place. REALLY COOL the way they have done the trailers to give them a nostalgic feel. Also loved their laid-back attitudes and pleasant demeanor/s, as well as the close proximity to Royal Gorge!

My wife, sister and I stayed at Starlite for two nights during July on our trip around the USA. We were determined to stay off the Interstates as much as possible and stay away from motels. Well, we booked from Australia not quite sure what we were getting into, but it was wonderful. Sylvia welcomed us and introduced us to... More
