They keep it simple, clean, comfortable and courteous. This is a older motel that has been refurbished. It is a great location for visiting downtown and the royal gorge train both are in walking distance. The value is awesome do not pass this motel up it is well worth it.

We stayed here on our way to Utah. When I first saw it from the street I wondered about it, but as soon as you open your door, it's a nice, clean little room with the needed amenities. We visited Royal Gorge which was beautiful.

Great place to stay overnight and much better value than any of the Holiday Inns we stayed at. On arrival reception was great and the continental breakfast more than adequate, Don`t pay over the odds prices for the established bigger hotel chains when you can stay somewhere like this for half the price and the same comfort, if not better!!... Took a little bit to find on Internet, which I use a lot for trip planning. Reservations made on phone. Ability to find it was a little tougher as the GPS location was a little off from reality, which is not motel's fault at all. Is well marked with large sign. Front desk check-in was good by the owner. She... More

I used to stay at the Hampden Inn for three times the price, until I found this cute little place. It's not fancy but the owners clearly care about the rooms. They are very clean. They offer coffee and a light breakfast in the morning, with bagels, cerial and fresh fruit. Everything you need and a good value.

If you are looking for a room that is clean, comfortable, and inexpensive then the Parkview Inn is for you. No the rooms aren’t spacious and the quarters aren’t luxurious, but if you are just looking for an inexpensive place to lay your head and be comfortable then I highly recommend you stay at the Parkview Inn. The bed, including... More

We stayed here to ride the Royal Gorge Route train the next day. Don't judge it by the outside!. It is an older motel that the owners have refurbished into a great place to stay. The rooms are spotlessly clean and appear nearly new. The bed was very comfortable and noise was not an issue for a good night's sleep.... More

At first glance you might just drive by this place, thinking the rooms must be as old as the exterior looks. If our room, room 124, is an example , this is definitely not the case. This is your old time ma and pa lodging. Put a real key in the door to get in. But our room looked nearly... More

My wife and I stayed here the night before hitting the Royal Gorge zip line and rafting, which isn’t far. It’s doesn’t look like much on the outside but the rooms are perfectly clean, look good, and have all one needs for an overnight including a fridge. The furnishings seemed relatively new and the bed was comfortable. The morning breakfast... More

Stayed here the night we rode the Royal Gorge train and we just walked right over to the train. The price was good, the rooms were nice and clean and the breakfast was good. They even had raisins, craisins and chia seeds for the oatmeal and fresh cut up melons!
