My wife and I stayed at Los Manos and meant to write this earlier so it’s with our humblest apologies that we submit this. We have stayed at many B&B’s around the world and I must say that as a Colorado native, this was my personal favorite for reasons cited below and other, more ethereal items that are not listed........ more

We just returned from a 9-day trip to Colorado, and were fortunate to have spent the last 3 nights at Las Manos. The home as well as the surrounding area are truly magical - all our cares just disappeared and we were able to fully relax. Colleen and William are warm, entertaining hosts who went out of their way to... more

This romantic location, and unique building invites effusive comments, which can be read elsewhere. There are also practical matters to comment on. The long driveway, which is clearly signposted, has many adjacent rocks.Driving there in the dark requires caution to avoid serious damage. Those who use oversized wheeled suitcases will niether be able to negotiate the gravel surfaces out doors nor the narrow steel spiral stair... more

After researching nearly 50 B&Bs, we chose Las Manos B&B as the place to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We were rewarded with an unforgettable experience in every aspect. The location of this unique and beautiful home gave us the quiet setting we wanted--close to town, but away from noise and hustle. The room offered a view of the snow... more

My husband and I stayed at Las Manos for a few days in November to celebrate our anniversary. William and Colleen could not have been better hosts. The breakfasts were delicious (especially loved the breakfast burrito and the zucchini bread french toast!). We spent hours talking with William and Colleen, learning about the fascinating home they've built. Although they spent... more

We couldn't have asked for anything more. A simple yet elegant (and very nature-inspired) decor combined with a gorgeous location (what spectacular views!) made for a perfect weekend. The owners (Colleen and William) were so friendly, though not overbearing. Every day we were greeted with breathtaking views, a scrumptious breakfast and two smiling faces. I really loved the fact that... more

We went to Las Manos for a relaxing weekend, and it is exactly what we got! The owners (both massage therapists) were extremely nice and inviting. The breakfasts were out of this world, and the extra-large soaking tub was truly a treat. The B&B is in close proximity to lots of activities (hiking, biking, climbing, etc). For those passionate about... more

For sophisticated, world travelers, a stay at Las Manos will delight and not disappoint. This is on par with the finest resorts in Aspen, Vail and Beaver Creek...just more exclusive for only for one or two couples! The home is very spacious, gorgeous, comfortable and completely "green"--unlike anything out there for the money and for the comfort. The two suites... more

Several months before our wedding, we started looking for a unique, relaxing, honeymoon location -- a bit out-of-the-way, with plenty of outdoor beauty to explore and enjoy, and offering a respite from the rushed pace of modern life. We found all of that and more at Las Manos. The home beautifully weaves luxury and living with a light touch on... more

When you turn off of the main road onto the mile-long "driveway," the cares of the world start melting away...and it just gets better from there. This was our first trip to Buena Vista, and we had planned to do some bike riding. Instead, we opted to sleep in, eat late, laze around, and renew. We have always joked that... more
