River Mountain Lodge is a pretty big "condotel" (Condominium + Hotel) right near the base of Breckenridge Ski resort (closest to peak 8). This place is pretty awesome. 4 hot tubs! 2 outside in which my girlfriend and I were in while it was snowing. It was magical and we got to be there by ourselves. 1 hot tub is... More

We took a chance booking this room online. We wanted something walking distance to town but also something close to get on the slopes easily. We were one block off Main St and @200 yards from the Gondola. Rooms were clean. We got a one bedroom condo and was spacious. Having a kitchen was great to put breakfast items. They... More

The hotel is very old and outdated. Although it doesn't look that old from the outside when I checked into my room I was so disappointed. The unit I stayed in (E225F) was so old and outdated. It had the cheapest of everything from linens to dishes. The carpet was red and stained. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. It appears... More

We just got back from a 7 day stay, and loved it. We stayed in room E203, which had a lovely view of mountains, downtown, and the river. There is a ski rental shop on the property, and a good Mexican restaurant. The lounge downstairs was very nice, amd everyone was extremely hospitable and friendly. We will go back.

This place is dated, loud and just odd. We checked in for a family vacation over New Years, the staff was rude, they don't have enough parking for their guests, the units are old, beds/bathrooms suck and you can hear EVERYTHING, the hot tubs, were not hot and one looked like a cesspool, I wouldn't even put animal in it.... Stayed in unit E111 (1 bedroom, 1 bath) for 2 nights for Thanksgiving weekend. Unit was clean and well taken care of, with plenty of room for family of 4. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I also liked the convenience of being able to check our gear at the front desk. There is a bar in the lobby and... More

Checked into River Mountain Lodge and was greeted by very friendly staff. The hotel is located directly downtown (1/2 block from Main Street) and was beyond convienent to get to all the restaurants/bars/shops that are all located on Main Street. I would stay again, especially since 4 O'Clock Run ends across the street from the front door of the Hotel.

Booked this 1bdrm with two bed lodge thru gobreck.com I believe this large lodge spins off various condos/rooms to various different booking groups. I preferred gobreck as I spoke with a local CO person on the phone and not Singapore on a cell phone. The rooms vary according to owner/manager but our room was JUST like photo showed and maybe... I'm glad I had low expectations going in. The room was the smallest I've ever seen. We were right beside the pool so we had lots of noise all evening until it closed. There were no amenities. The bar/lounge was closed so we didn't even have that. I will say that the staff were great and location to downtown was... More

Loved listening to the sound of the river outside our deck. Great location for walking to all of the great restaurants, shops, etc. didn't need our car once. Great kitchen & decent size condo. Would def stay there again in summertime.
