I am a Marriott Platinum member and somewhat accustomed to nice Marriott properties. MVL at Breckenridge was not a disappointment. ALL the rooms in all buildings have been renovated in the last 12 months (according to the Front Desk Manager). . My room was exactly where I requested in the reservation process. The room was very large, had several unexpected... More

We stayed in a suite for 3 nights. Everything was so nice. The bathroom had an oversized jet tub with granite in the bath and kitchen. Not that we cooked but the kitchen had everything you would ever want including a dishwasher. The grounds with the pond and the mountains were so pretty. It was walking distance to town. There... The hotel room was totally fine - a typical 4 star Marriott property. A spacious, comfortable clean room with a full kitchen. But, as of this writing, there's construction going on and the parking is very much affected. You have to check-in, take your stuff to your room and then return to your car and drive several blocks away, pull... More

It is only a 3 minute walk to the bars, shopping, and restaurants on Main Street Breckenridge. The hotel has an indoor parking garage close to the rooms to keep you out of the snow. The hotel has daily activities such as group hikes or making s'mores. The ski lift Gondolas are a 5 minute drive. Our room had a... More

I am marriott platinum and used my points to stay two nights here, checked out a night earlier than we were supposed to stay and moved to the Vail Marriott. This place is really dated, you can smell the paint and room is very small. There is no central air conditioning, means a fan will be blowing next to your... More

We stayed at this hotel 5-6 years ago. And, while the stay was fine, the rooms were dated and worn. Fast forward to Labor Day weekend 2014, the room we stayed in was completely updated and modern. With the renovated rooms and great views, I'd easily recommend this hotel.

Small condo, perfect for a hotel room. We were there in the fall, so was good for hiking nearby as well as close to downtown Breckenridge shops and restaurants. Hotel has a small, but well-stocked kitchen, nice, small balcony (ours had a nice view of the lake full of geese and the mountains). Staff was friendly, and helpful with our... More

Great family hotel, close to everything. No air conditioning but you did not need it. They had a ceiling fan and a small fan. Garage underneath the building, made it very convenient. Walking distance to town.

The staff, the location, the views, the huge pool and hot tubs, the weather and the spacious and modern rooms - 5 stars in every respect! Everything is so walkable and relaxing, dozens of restaurants and shops right outside and the hotel feels brand-new. Best of all, the staff makes you feel so comfortable it's well worth the trip. Love Breckenridge, the scenery, shopping, cool summer nights, the hiking, biking and wonderful dining. It is everything I look for in a great vacation. But having the perfect place to stay makes it or breaks it. If you want a comfortable, convenient, compact, clean and well supplied studio or one bedroom apartment, consider staying at Marriott's Mountain Valley Lodge. This... More
