We went there for the first time May 2014 based on the Groupon they have run the last couple of years. We just went again this Memorial Day. We have gone there as a family and with a group of friends. We have a 14 and 10 year old. This is the 3rd time we have visited. The first time,... More

Located at the base of peak 9, this resort is dated for sure, but the bones are good! Make sure you stay in building 4 to enjoy the ultimate slope side ski lockers and hottubs! It is a short walk to Main Street and all the restaurants and bars and shopping. Peaks 8&7 have newer accommodations and Main Street station... More

We booked the weekend of April 24th because we got a great package deal seeing how it's the off season. Our room was big and luxurious. We had a private spa tub, separate bedroom for ourselves and the kids had the pull out couch with the fireplace. We had a nice porch with great views too. We enjoyed the steak... More

The complex is huge. They have some very nice big and expensive rooms. No need for all that though. We were not hear during ski season, I probably would not pay the rates at that time. We had a normal room with 2 queen beds, fridge and microwave. Sadly, none of their 'normal' rooms come with a king bed. We... More

We have stayed before with our kids during hockey tourney's. This time is was just the two of us. Jetted tub did not work initially but was fixed within 10 min. of a phone call. We slept well the first night until someone decided to try out the fire place and forgot to open the damper The second night was... More

If you have to have ski-in/ski-out, this place is acceptable. If you don't mind walking 2 minutes to the slopes, you can find a place just as nice for less than half the price. Everything about this place is convenient. You can ski from the hotel down to the lift. Restaurants on Main street are within walking distance. You can... More

My family started coming to Beaver Run back in the early 80s and it immediately became our favorite ski resort. Now my wife and I take our three boys every chance we get. Our latest trip was over the Christmas holidays and included eight extended family members. I can't imagine our family having a better Christmas anywhere. Breckenridge is great,... More

Cheap, but you get what you pay for. Thin walls, loud hallways, very small rooms ("kitchenette" is actually a hallway. Very small hot tubs for the size of the place. Don't stay in building 4 if you need a good night's sleep.

Let me start by saying, I am not normally a complainer. However, sleep interrupted by excessive dog barking and scratching at wall/door at 11pm warrants a complaint. The way the complaint was handled by the hotel is no better. I called the front desk and security sent up to investigate. After knocking on several doors, the door with no answer... More

We have stayed at this resort twice and brought our dog Lucy. The staff is great and the resort is conveniently located next to the ski lift and close to the downtown area where there is an awesome doggy daycare! The Dog House. The rooms are average but most have a small kitchen for making breakfast in the morning. Hot... More
