A group of friends and myself came to Breckenridge this last week to visit a friend of ours who moved there and decided to stay at the Bivvi after hours of searching various mountain houses. When we stumbled across the Bivvi we realized it was the perfect mix of everything we wanted; hot tub, fireplace, porch, convenient access to town/skiing,... More

We were thoroughly underwhelmed after our 3 days staying at the Bivvi. Staff were grumpy/unhelpful, breakfast was mediocre and no way near enough to go around, the wifi was slow/unreliable and the location wasn't great. The place feels very crowded, like it was designed for 25 people but now accommodates 50, which is why there are queues at breakfast with... More

This place is awesome. It's a really nice property with a great atmosphere. You get all the social aspects of a hostel but in a beautiful building. The staff rocks and there's a bar, fireplace and hot tub. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Summit county.

Forget booking at a resort. Every time I'm back in Breck I will be staying at the Bivvi. The place is freaking awesome, comfy beds and a relaxing lobby/lounge area. Not to mention the service, Ava Balaz and Tyler all went above and beyond to make my stay the best possible. Tyler even met up with us on the mountain... More

What an incredible place. The bivvi hostel was perfect for myself and two longtime buddies to reunite for a few days of skiing. From beer on tap to breakfast provided (good breakfast too!) I wouldn't have changed a thing. We met so many interesting guests coming and going while we were there for 4 days. Right next to the incredi-practical... More

This is a superb choice for a recreational stop in Breckenridge any time of year or also works well for a budget stop on an I-70 through trip. Very comfortable high end ski lodge style common areas complete with a roaring fire and great wifi. Free ample parking. Very good breakfast that is served starting around 7:30 which is a... More

When looking for a hotel in Breckenridge, I saw the pics and positive evaluations of the Bivvy (Bivouac) in Breckenridge. As I like to have a bit of comfort, I booked a single room to myself which made it a bit more expensive than a normal hostel stay, but it combined perfectly with my needs: I had my own room... More

So my wife and I have been here several days now and it's been a fun experience. We didn't stay in a bunk room but, rather, opted for the private Super Suite so our experience was not one of shared bunk rooms and such. Having the private room made it more like a hotel suite except a much more friendly... More

This was my first stay in a hostel and I'm afraid that any I stay in now will not live up to my expectations. Every detail was thought of. Rooms were super clean and organized and cute to boot! LOVED hanging out with other travelers in the common area/deck: Indoor/outdoor fireplaces, comfy seating, hot tub, drinks, and conversation. Whats not... More

We stayed 2 nights and I wish it had been longer. I haven't stayed in a Hostel for some time and the Bivvi beats everything I remember of hostels by a long-long way. Very friendly and helpful young staff, great breakfast, comfortable and super clean room in a very tastefully decorated building. I loved the reception/breakfast/living room area. With easy... More
