The reason for the most recent negative reviews is due to the fact that the timeshare has suffered from financial problems. 40% of the intervals were either owned by the timeshare or were delinquent meaning that the remaining owners were being forced to pay high maintenance fees. The board finally decided that it was best to sell the complex. I... More

Recently stayed here for a week Rm 201. On arrival we were told the fold out couch was inoperable. That quickly told us no friends would be able to stay over with us after a dinner party. The B B Que area was filthy complete with bird droppings and dirty hand rails. A large area of the deck was taped... More

Before our stay at Skier's Edge, we read some reviews and were a bit worried that we wouldn't be pleased with our stay. The people who wrote the reviews must have stayed a while ago, because our stay at Skier's Edge was great. A lot of complaints were about how it's outside of town - we loved that aspect of... More

Rooms are OK, but a little dirty/grimy. The lobby area is very nice. I've stayed here several times in the past year or so, mostly because the price is decent. It's a bit out of town so you have to drive to get to anything....but like I said...the price is nice. Nice fireplace in the lobby. They say they don't... More

Do not stay here unless you are desperate. The studios are stuffy & small and outdated. Stains on the furniture. The front desk is supposed to stay open until 8:00pm. I tried to find someone at 7:15pm but to no avail. The only good thing about this place is that the washing machines & dryers are free and work quite well;... More

Not bad for the price, but terribly outdated. The bedding in our room had nasty stains so we went to the front desk and the guy there basically just smiled and said sorry. The young guy at the desk kept going outside and then coming back for some reason....smoking maybe. The views are nice, but there is no shuttle service... More

My family of two adults and two young children stayed in the studio room and were VERY satisfied with our stay! The room had everything you could possibly need - dishes, extra blankets and pillows, even a humidifier (which was a plus in the high altitude) and the front desk offered all kinds of entertainment options - movies, games, sleds,... We stayed at this property through a Living Social Deal. Our 1-bed condo would have been approximately $315 for 3 nights, and with the Living Social purchase we stayed for just under $200! This is part of Vacation Resorts International, and it just happened to be the same timeframe as the 33rd annual Breckenridge Film Festival. The one-bed unit sleeps... More

Dallas heat from mid July to mid September has been and IS unbearable. Escape is mandatory and the solution = the Colorado Rocky Mountains. This year I started in Denver then Vail then Skiers Edge of Breckenridge and the last week in Denver. Of the four weeks, Skier's Edge was to most memorable. Trey, the manager, is a fountain of...
