When we first purchased a GTL timeshare five years ago, we were so thrilled to "own" a piece of Breckenridge. We thought the facilities were superb (not 5 Star, however), the staff accomodating, the shuttle very helpful, and the quaint town of Breckenridge delightful. Because I was completing my master's degree, we had not been to GTL for 2 years.... More

Based on availability at Grand Timber Lodge, sometimes guests will have to move rooms mid-stay. Unfortunately, check-out and check-in times are set to give the housekeeping staff time to clean each room. These policies are clearly stated at the time of reservation. While waiting to check in, however, guests are permitted to be on property and take advantage of the... More

Our family just returned from a week long trip in the Summit County area. We stayed at Grand Timber Lodge because it was the time share offered through the Interval Exchange program. We were told before our trip that our condo would overlook the pool area. We also were told that buildings 5 and 6 were the nicest on the... More

Unfortunately, due to location some units experience more noise than others, due to proximity to the pool or main drive area. Guests may always request certain units, though we cannot guarantee a particular unit. We do our best to accommodate such requests, however. -Customer Service More

Stayed in a two bedroom suite in building 5 with view of the mountains and the pool. Check in was quick and easy and the room was ready a full hour before check in time. The room was very clean and spacious. The double shower in the master bath was a hit with my wife! The kids stayed in the... More

While we cannot guarantee early check-in at Grand Timber Lodge, if a guest's room is ready before the 4pm check-in time, they may check in early. Guests may pre-register at the front desk whenever they arrive, and if the room is ready early the front desk can call their cell phone to let them know. -Customer Service More

At Timber Lodge for Spring Break 07. Stayed in one bedroom condo in building 7, third floor. Great Building. All essentials functional. Mountain side view. Quite location. Definitely NOT a ski in/out. Short walks can be exhausting if you're not used to the elevation. Shuttle bus at main building ran ten minute loops to base of mountains. Shuttle was great!... More

The Grand Timber shuttle is a very convenient way to get around town, especially during the ski season - between the snow and crowds, who wants to bother with a car? The shuttle can take our owners and guests anywhere within Breckenridge town limits. -Customer Service More

Stayed in Blding 5 week of 3/10. The resort is very nice and thestaff very helpful. Had a 2 bedroom w/2 broken toliets and they came immediately to fix them. Staff very helpful and attentive. However, we were in a room directly above the garage door and the noise was loud and continuous all day and some of the night.... More

I was able to rent a 2BR Condo for 5 nights at $165 per night from February 12-16. Grand Timber Lodge is conveniently located between Peaks 8 and 9. Guests can use the Snowflake lift, or head over to Peak 9 and the Beaver Run Superchair. The front desk at Grand Timber has maps of the best way to ski in and out, so be sure to ask for one at check-in. -Customer Service More

First, there is nothing seriously wrong with this resort. It is an adequate, dated worn-out facility in need of updating. However, both the resort itself and Interval International advertise the resort as "Five star" luxury accomodations, and this in my opinion is misleading. Positives include nice design in the pool area, with stone and tile, three free form hot tubs,... More

The rooms at Grand Timber Lodge are taken out of service for two weeks each year. During this time, such issues as damages and natural wear and tear are addressed, and the rooms undergo extensive cleaning. We stayed in a studio room for four nights and considered it very nice with a few exceptions. The buildings are fairly new and maintained well.
