We booked our room as a package and when we called to upgrade from a hotel room to a studio we were told that it was available but would need to change at the front desk when we arrived. When we arrived we were greeted by Aniela Wasmanski. We ask if we could upgrage to a studio which we were... more

I have nothing bad to say about the village, was surprised after reading the bad reviews. Room was very nice, yes bathroom is small. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location . My daughter stayed in a 2 bedroom condo, it was excellent condition. Don't think twice on staying here, very nice place!!! more

We stayed for 8 nights in march for a skiing trip. The hotel is located at the top of main street and on top of the ski lift up Peak 9. They have ski rental and ski school on-site, plenty of valet parking ($15 a day) and great hot tubs! It's not architechturally beautiful, but it is functional, warm and... more

This is an ok hotel, but keep your expectations down. The rooms are very small - I am not a big person, but had problems moving about in the tiny bathroom. the resort is starting to show its age. The lighting fixtures in the room were flimsy and did not work. I contacted the front desk by phone and was... more

My husband and I stayed at the Village Hotel Jan 1 - 5th and had a great experience. We had originally planned on staying in a lift side suite until we heard the suites are privately owned and updated at the owner discretion. The rooms in the hotel on the other hand have all been recently renovated. The pictures on... more

My boyfriend and I just got back from a week at the Village Hotel and we absolutely loved it. Our room was spacious and well decorated with every amenity we needed. Our bed was very comfortable, we had enough space for all of our snowboard/ski gear and we felt at home right away. I read a complaint about the bathroom... more

We stayed at this hotel just before Christmas, and while the location was fabulous, the service and condition of the hotel were poor. There were 6 lamps in our room, and of these 6, two of them worked consistently. Our humidifier was broken, and when we called the front desk to request another one they sent up another broken one.... more

My 16 year old daughter and myself stayed at The Village Hotel Nov. 24-Nov. 28. This is a nice hotel and a decent price. All staff members we encountered were very nice and helpful. This is great location as we were able to walk almost everywhere. The room was nice size with 2 queen beds, had a nice view of... more

Mediocre stay, Aug 15-17, 2008. The room was small. The king bed was so close to the wall/heating unit that a person could only leave the bed on one side. They charge for internet, which other hotels of this caliber offer free. Outside of the windows was a roof containing air conditioning units. The plus side was that it was... more

We stayed here in June of 2008. The rates in the summer month are great - you get a really good value for a very nice room. This hotel is ideally located, especially for a summer visit. Right on the end of Main St with walking access to town. The double room we stayed in was quite large and could... more
