My husband is currently staying at this hotel. Every time I have called to speak to him, I have received less than enthusiastic people answering the phone, but this morning was the winner. I called, pressed 0 for the front desk, someone named Cody answered, I gave the room number and he said I would need to call back in... more

I'm not sure what happened between all those negative reviews on this site, and my visit, but the Boulder Outlook is a great hotel. Yes, it's just a plain old motel redone, but that is something different and I appreciate what they're doing. It's colorful, the pool is great for kids, the people who work there are genuinely friendly and... more

We stayed here 2 nights at the end of our epic honeymoon trip across the west. It was recommended by our Frommer's guide, which had served us well, so we were confident we would be comfortable. Unfortunately the night before we had staying in a terrible La Quinta in Denver (our fault for not planning ahead) so we were really... more

Stayed one night at the Boulder Outlook while visiting relative on CU faculty. Upon arrival we were sent to "annex" which is a B-movie motel strip perpendicular to main hotel which houses the laundry and a number of long-term guests. (Two of their rooms were unshuttered and sights to behold...) Room was in the back, small and dark, paint was... more

Very disappointing -- after reading the hotel's green slogan "we don't waste anything" they shold reconsider wasting (as in losing) something -- like the cheap motel room look, and the high price relative to value -- try to avoid -- using their lingo, "why waste a vacation on a place that prides itself on wasting nothing"... more

I wanted a moderately priced hotel for a quick visit to CU. Checked it online and thought it was good for the price and booked it. But, the place is a dump! It especially smells bad in the main lobby and the corridors. The rooms also stink but not as bad as the main lobby. I will not stay in... more

Dan King and his staff could not be friendlier or more accommodating. Everything was first class all the way--from our room to the food to the wonderful indoor swimming pool area. It's like being on a cruise staying here! Be sure and catch some of the blues music that Dan hosts in his super bar! The bar itself is classy--the... more

This was a terrific place to stay - with many choices in Boulder that are far too expensive, the Outlook is the best value out of any place here. Great convenience for access to CU!! more

We stayed at the Outlook for four nights while visiting our son at CU Boulder. The room was booked via the internet. When we arrived, we were given a room on a "basement level." We were told this was the best room available for the rate we were paying. In fact, the desk clerk said this would be her first... more
