after staying one night at millinum harvest house i made a switch to the outlook the staff gave me a tour and an early check in to come over. i was impressed by the clean rooms pool and free breakfast. i would recommed this for price also. boulder is expensive on hotels. and by far this is your best bet.... more

Very disappointing -- after reading the hotel's green slogan "we don't waste anything" they shold reconsider wasting (as in losing) something -- like the cheap motel room look, and the high price relative to value -- try to avoid -- using their lingo, "why waste a vacation on a place that prides itself on wasting nothing"... more

I wanted a moderately priced hotel for a quick visit to CU. Checked it online and thought it was good for the price and booked it. But, the place is a dump! It especially smells bad in the main lobby and the corridors. The rooms also stink but not as bad as the main lobby. I will not stay in... more

Dan King and his staff could not be friendlier or more accommodating. Everything was first class all the way--from our room to the food to the wonderful indoor swimming pool area. It's like being on a cruise staying here! Be sure and catch some of the blues music that Dan hosts in his super bar! The bar itself is classy--the... more

This was a terrific place to stay - with many choices in Boulder that are far too expensive, the Outlook is the best value out of any place here. Great convenience for access to CU!! more

We stayed at the Outlook for four nights while visiting our son at CU Boulder. The room was booked via the internet. When we arrived, we were given a room on a "basement level." We were told this was the best room available for the rate we were paying. In fact, the desk clerk said this would be her first... more

The Boulder Outlook caught our attention because they promote they are an environmentally friendly hotel. Not quite! While they strongly encourage recycling your trash in the room, with a very overly complicated system, and supposedly have "green" soap and shampoo in the rooms that is about all that is visible. The room was a typical "super 8" type room with... more

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights while dropping my son off at college. We had a great experience. The people at the front desk were friendly as they checked us into our poolside room. The room was large, clean and had 2 double beds (queensize would have been preferable). The bathroom was big and was very clean. The location... more

Travellers with pets please do not be fooled...this is a repainted 30 year Holiday Inn. The rooms are filthy, furniture and bedding dirty and damaged. The photos on the website do not represent the rooms available for people with pets. The "green" aspect of the hotel consists of cardboard boxes for you to separate your trash. This is a great... more

We stayed 3 nights at this creative motel. We had our 2 large dogs and no place has been more perfect for us while traveling. The rooms were tile floors - which I think all hotel rooms should be (dogs or not) - as most carpeted rooms are just disgusting. The room was clean, service with the staff great, there... more
