I had a great experience with their front desk, Veronica was extremely knowledgeable, about Boulder, helpful and friendly. While the rooms are older, the beds were comfortable enough, and if you are looking for a great value, and you aren't planning on lounging in the hotel I feel you will be very satisfied. Multiple of my business colleagues remarked on... more

We stayed here the first real day of our Colorado Tour after overnighting in Denver. We did not want a long drive due to jet lag ,so booked this hotel due to Boulder being only 40 miles or so from the airport and University's location within walking distance of Pearl St .This gave us the oportunity to kick back most of... more

In town to visit a niece we found this property to be very clean, well maintained and in a great location. Right off Pearl St. and very close to the UC campus with the Boulder Creek hiking trails right out the back door, the location was excellent. A very decent breakfast and free wireless internet were included in the rate... more

Spent 3 weeks exploring Boulder this spring and stayed at the U Inn for the second time in 3 years. You can't beat the LOCATION!!!! LOCATION!!!!!LOCATION! It is a 3 block walk to downtown Boulder, two block walk the other way to the U. of Colorado/Boulder, across the street from a Wild Oats store and right out the back door... more

First, the desk clerk was unable to find our reservation, which forced us to share a room with another in our party. When the bedroom door in our room shut one evening, the door locked from the inside and we were unable to access the bedroom and our belongings for 12 hrs, and had to sleep on the floor. The... more

Chose this property based on other reviews on Tripadvisor and since Boulderado was way too expensive. Location is almost perfect if you are visiting Pearl St and/or Colorado Univ. Also very close to the walking trails along Boulder Creek (a great place to walk or just chill). Overall it was a good value including free parking. Outside entrances did not... more

Not a fancy hotel with a concierge, but a good solid hotel within walking distance of many places. Ask for a room with a view of the Flatirons! more

We stayed in this hotel whilst attending a conference at University of Colorado. Admittedly, it is not the best hotel I have ever visited, but it does represent good value for money. The hotel had not received our reservation when we arrived (we booked through a famous web-based company beginning with E!). However, reception were really friendly and apologetic and... more

Stayed for two nights over a weekend with a home football game. The hotels is older but is clean. The staff was wonderful. There were several groups that were partying late into the night . Request upstairs. Lower level you can hear people above you walking around. Good location and good price. more

We stayed at the University Inn for almost a week and were impressed with the hotel for the price. The employees were very friendly and helpful. When they found out we had gotten married recently, they sent up a bottle of wine! I would stay here again. more
