This place met our needs perfectly with convenciences we appreciate: cleanliness, little frig, coffee maker, VERY comfortable beds, complete breakfast buffet without the fussiness of a big hotel. For the most part there wasn't anyone at the reception desk, just a phone if we needed to call but everything was waiting for us...one of the fastest checkins I've ever experienced.... More

Three of us were comfortable with a double queen room. This is a fairly quiet hotel in the middle of a residential community with some nice places to walk close by. Our business was in the middle of Boulder, and the drive was fairly easy back & forth. This place is out of the city and kept up nicely. It... More

We stayed at Twin Lakes for three nights after staying at the Millenium for three nights. World of difference. I noticed in reviews that some people were put off by the odd character of this hotel, but frankly I found it kind of charming. The bathroom sink outside the shower/ toilet area may be unusual, but in some respects it... More

I liked staying at the hotel. The prior reviews seem about right, so I'll summarize the highs and lows from my perspective. Wonderfully quiet location, great walking trails next to the property, a pond/march area for watching birds, nice sized rooms with a modest homey feel (ours had two Queen beds, a nice couch, small table, desk area, kitchen sink, fridge... WoW!!! This was a wonderful find. We were visiting Colorado University to check out the college for our daughter. The Boulder Twin Lakes Inn was a few minutes outside the city but still convenient. The cost was reasonable, the room was great, the beds were fantastic! If my daughter chooses CU we will be spending many nights at the Twin... More

For sure you can't find a better price, but I won't stay there again. It is dingy and run-down. I walked into the communal kitchen to see if I might want to use it and there is no way I would. Although all the dishes people had used were "done" the kitchen counters, tables and stove were gross with food.... More

Stayed 31 Jan through 1 Feb, don't know where to start. First they made sure we had perfect accommodations for a family of 6! Had two queens and a pullout and still had plenty of room! The whole pave had a cozy feel and was enjoyable. It was quiet the whole night through even though there were plenty of guests.... More

Visited for 3 days on a family trip, and am so glad we chose this hotel. It is not in the traffic/tourist traps/major downtown area, which is a plus for me, but we did visit that area and it's not far. Neil and his wife were incredibly helpful in giving directions to places, and recommending places to see. They even... More

It was really comfortable and cheap. Great place if you go skiing to Eldora. Good breakfast! You may buy some food to be cooked since it has a large kitchen and fridges all over the place. I suggest buying ski passes at this hotel, rather than @Eldora.

We're using TripAdvisor to plan where we'll be staying and eating while on a road trip from Santa Fe, NM, to Seattle, WA. We decided to spend our first night in Boulder, CO, opting for a simple place that allowed pets. The Boulder Twin Lakes Inn was quite an interesting find - we walked in to be told by someone,...
