the hotel was ok. Its outdated and old.The staff is very friendly. The breakfast wasn't bad. The room was ok, even thought it was from the seventies.Check in was quick and easy.we had a non smoking room. Was a little musty, but not smoky

Just passing through Boulder. We stayed here because it was the cheapest option. We weren't expecting much. The beds were clean. Everything else was stained and dated. Not stained like it was dirty....just needed a massive face lift. However we sort of expected this for the price. Just happy it had a clean bed and running water. Good location.

My non-smoking room smelled like a smoking room. The odor was strong. There was a glade plug in the wall (yuck!). It was ok to crash one night for an event, but wouldn't want to do an extended stay. Overall, the look was neat, but it didn't feel clean.

Our basketball team stayed here for a team camp at CU and I immediately wished we had stayed at the college dorms. This place, though cheap, is badly in need of an update. The area is a little rough too as we saw a near fight when a homeless guy stole a patron's bike at the nearby McDonald's. Unless you're... More

We stayed at this hotel when in Boulder for the BB 10K. The first room was awful, the smell of pot in our nonsmoking room was so strong and nothing was done to fix it. Then the shower wold not drain. We were moved to another room which was marginally better. A child staying in our room found a drug... More

but I was there for one night only. Location is a little bit close to highway, but not noisy. Breakfest average - too much waste due to use of disposable dishes. Enough parking lots. Cooperative staff. I was very satisfied.

As other reviewers have noted, this is a hotel that had it heyday in years past; but for the price it is still comfortable and will give you a good nights sleep. They offer a breakfast, but I did not take advantage of it. The room was clean, but looked its age. Dark wood and curtains made it seem smaller... More

Recently back from a three night stay. Have stayed here many times over the years when in Boulder but I'm afraid there won't be a next time. The place has just gone down hill, the restaurant closed years ago but i was shocked that the bar/lounge has been closed. My room had a musty odor and when I dropped a... More

Check in was fine, front desk receptionist was very nice and well groomed. The lobby reeked of qho knows what, even enough for my 7 year old daughter to say something before me. Well I guess I get a step ahead since my actual job is to inspect hotel rooms but at my workplace which is 5 star 5 diamond.... More

Not much has changed at this hotel since it's heyday as one of the more luxurious and prestigious hotels in the area - literally! Most of the hotel finishes, furniture, room decor, window treatments, and maybe even bedding, are 40+ years old. That said, it's still kinda fun to stay there and think about what it must have been like... More
