This was my second time at the hotel, this time to drop our son off for college. Just as last time, I was blown away by the consistent friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. I have never experienced anything like it in the many hotels I have stayed at over the years. Nothing is too much trouble. And everyone... More

I have stayed here a few times to visit my kids in College. This last visit, I was put in room 415 with some kind of huge machinery outside my window. Lots of garbage dumpsters and alleys were my view for $309 per night. The noise from the machinery/generator was so loud you could hear it with my windows closed.... More

The hotel was beautiful. Great, comfortable pillows. Lounge service was awful. And we tried the restaurant. Food was average and again found the service lacking. But there are so many restaurants close to the hotel that we just didn't eat here again.

Great place to stay on a girls trip or a romantic time with hubby. Unique hotel being over 100 years old. Be sure to use the Old elevator at least once. The employees were all wonderful and made us feel special. Close to Pearl Street shopping. Very clean. We stayed in a suite. Very nice!!!

Stayed here twice and it was consistently mediocre. Fortunately for the owners, the hotel is well located. I thought I'd give it a second try and couldn't imagine it could be bad twice. But it was - it's how the staff has been trained. Surprisingly not knowledgable and not really helpful - all counter to Boulder personalities. So many great... More

The Boulderado is a lovely historical building with a wonderful ambience in an excellent location steps away from Pearl Street. The lobby and grand staircase are lovely - as is the vintage elevator with attendant. We had a large corner room with two queen sized beds furnished in a pleasant old western style. The bathrooms are adequate and in their... More

The location is fantastic if you want to check out Boulder and surrounds. You can walk to restaurants, bike rentals, and assorted outfitters. The hotel has two restaurants and both a good. The bar scene is lively and sitting outside on a summer evening is a great way to enjoy the ambiance of this charming town. Go to Opus Cafe... More

Not only is the hotel beautiful, but the staff is absolutely outstanding. From check in to baggage to the restaurants attached to the hotel, everyone was highly professional and efficient and pleasant to deal with. This is especially amazing to me, as the majority of the staff seemed to be quite young -- not characteristics you always associate with the... More

This was my first trip to the U.S I was away on business and on my own for a week so I'm pleased I felt so at home and the staff were so friendly. They explained the menu to me and helped me with taxis as well as taking me to my room and printing my boarding pass for me.... More

We stayed in the renovated building that was added on to the original hotel. It is decorated to keep the historic feel. Rooms are basic, but more than adequate. Within walking distance to the Pearl Street mall, with boutique shopping and restaurants. Short drive to the CU campus or hiking at Chataqua. Would stay here again when in Boulder.
