Would give 3.5 stars if I was able to. Great looking hotel from the outside. Really good location, walking distance to the main streets in Boulder. I think what impressed me most was the staff. Super friendly and great service. Everyone had smiles on their faces and seemed to all be enjoying their jobs which was refreshing to see! The... More

We stayed at the Boulderado for a Valentines Day weekend getaway. The staff was super friendly and very attentive as we checked in. The historic hotel is very well preserved and looks amazing. We even rode the historic elevator that requires an elevator attendant operator! The lobby also has a water fountain that connects direct to a mountain top for... More

This restored historic hotel was renovated over 25 years ago and contributed to the restoration of the downtown city as a place unique in the front range. Today it is a key component of the "Aspen of the Front Range."Great central location in the heart of the city and with the fabulous open court interior to enjoy a drink before... More

I stayed 1 night at this hotel before checking out and moving elsewhere. It has a great location, but that's about the end of the list of positives. The rooms look like they haven't been redecorated in 50 years and whole experience comes across as creepy. I'm a huge fan of historic hotels, but this one lacks modern amenities mixed... More

As the producer for a photo shoot, where I choose to house my crew during the location scout as well as during the shoot itself is almost as critical to the success of the project as the weather. Since we were shooting on and around the Pearl Street Mall, staying at the Boulderado was the obvious choice. During the scout... More

When I say dated, its because theres not much you can do when a hotel is historic, but they have been able to maintain it. You have to walk a ways for most rooms, and the rooms itself was small. Also, decor is very loud and had a European flair. The service was good, however, I would stay here for... More

I made a quick business trip to Boulder, Colorado this week, and, on the advice of business partners, stayed at the Hotel Boulderado. What a terrific place! Not only is it quaint, beautiful, and gracious, but every single employee seemed genuinely happy to be working there. I ate twice at the Spruce Farm and Fish twice, and I was very... More

This was my third stay at the Boulderado and each time it seems to get better. Everyone on staff was friendly and seemed to truly enjoy working there. The housekeeping staff did a great job. The room and all other parts of the hotel were spotless. The thing about the Boulderado is that they seem to keep it like it... More

License No. 1 - What a great speakeasy feel, to a bar that has been around for very long time. Just off the main lobby of the Hotel Boulderado (which opened in 1909) and down the stairs, where you have to ring the bell to gain access. There are numerous different rooms, wander around and find the perfect one for... More

It was a very cold New Year's Eve when we checked in. The staff was getting ready for the New Year's Eve party, and even though busy with an unusual influx of guests, they couldn't have been any friendlier or more helpful. Since this hotel was built in 1909 we weren't sure what to expect but they room was very... More
