We decided to add an extra day to our stay in Boulder and tried the Best Western. The staff was very friendly and helfpul. Room was clean and inviting. Nice pool and nice continental breakfast. more

I have been staying at the Buff for 12 years- it use to be for the low price and decent rooms. Now that they have redone most of the rooms in the past 2 years, I recommend it for the value even more. Unless you just want to save money you can skip their free breakfast.. Not well prepared and... more

We stayed at this hotel for only 3 nights whilst touring the local area. It was a very clean, comfortable and very friendly hotel. A very good base for touring the local area. The Buff provided an excellent breakfast. The pool (which was very small) was ok and just what we needed at the end of a hot day touring. Would... more

I'm regularly visiting Boulder from Europe on personal business and I usually stay at the Golden Buff Lodge for 2-4 weeks at a time. I have to say that I really like it. The location is great, with almost everything I need within walking distance, the staff is always friendly and polite and the rooms are clean. I feel secure... more

What a gem in downtown Boulder! We enjoyed the very clean rooms, comfy beds, and all the free amenities. Nice breakfast with a wide variety of items to choose from. The staff was very helpful with recommending restaurants (there are several right across the street). We will stay at the Golden Buff next time we need a weekend getaway! more

I'm having trouble comprehending some of the bad reviews on this site. I stay at the Golden Buff at least six times a year when visiting my kids at the university. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The rooms are always immaculately cleaned. The breakfast is exceptional. And, best of all is the fact that they have the best... more

This place is a dive. A complete wreck. The beds are awful and the room furniture is vintage dorm. Not worth the price or hassle. Did I mention that the beds were awful? Unfortunately, Boulder seems to seriously lack any decent, medium cost ($100/night) hotel facilities. Stayed at this hotel for 1 week (conference at NCAR) - limited budget. Beds... more

Average motel. Apparently the rug in the room had been washed before arrival because it was slightly damp, but not a big deal. Many details in the room that need fixing and need to be renovated. Room had free internet access with a cable but mine never worked on my laptop. We only stayed two nights, so never had the... more

I stayed here one night, and had no serious issues. The staff is very nice, which was a good start. But the motel (and it really is a motel) is aged. The room was clean, but smelled pretty strong of cleaning solution. If passing through it is fine for a night. If I had to be in town for more... more
