This place was such a wonderful find! The house is a beautiful home, with antique furniture, high ceilings, and beautifully decorated spaces. It has great character, and is very homey. The rooms have comfy beds and nice bathrooms. The ambience is warm and inviting, from the minute one walks through the front door. Most of all, the staff doesn't seem... More

Some things were outstanding and other things just sort of "ok". Pros: The tea service was great. I wish I had more time to take advantage of it. The daily baked breads were delicious and a real treat everyday. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great for walking to places. I adored the soaps in the shower...great... More

Thank you very much for your review and critique. We are constantly looking to improve customer experience and all of your points are a perfect checklist of what to improve. Due to being nestled in an 1880s Victorian home we don't always have space in each room to store the additional pillows/bedding but we are always happy to oblige when... More

We stayed in the Huron room which was nicely decorated but the bed in the room was extremely squeaky! This wasn't much fun as my husband and I were here celebrating our wedding/honeymoon night! We also had a problem with the loose toilet seat. We didn't feel we had much control as this was a Friday night and we didn't... More

Lovely place, serene rooms, great breakfasts, friendly staff. There is the opportunity to interact with others but it is not required if you prefer privacy. The gardens and the freshly made tea were both lovely.

Wow, thank you for such kind words. This little place surely is our own slice of heaven in the heart of the city, it is so wonderful to share it with travelers from all over. We hope you'll visit again! More

We stayed for two nights during late May. We enjoyed our time - nicely kept grounds and house, friendly, extremely helpful staff, and awesome breakfast and snacks. Enjoyed breakfast conversations too! Will stay there again next time in Boulder.

I stayed at this B&B for 4 days while attending a conference at the University of Colorado in Boulder. This place is simply phenomenal! The room was super nice and cozy (including a fire place, which, unfortunately, I didn't get a chance/time to use), and the breakfasts were one of the best I had ever had, both in terms of... More

My recent stay at Briar Rose was excellent. Ones' stay also comes with parking and breakfast! It's location is also central to Boulder, while off the beaten path of all the hoot and holler from College kids, so another plus.

Cozy bed and breakfast 20 min walking away from Pearl Street and a short drive from the Flatiron area. So great location! The little garden sourrounding the property puts it a bit in retreat from the main road so it is very quiet. Our room was small but very clean and had all the necessary amenieties. The staff was very... More

My husband and I stayed here along with another couple for a week getaway in Boulder last fall. The food was delicious, tea and baked goodies available all the time and the location was perfect for walking everywhere! I loved the full sized refillable bottles of shampoo and soap in the bathrooms so no small throw aways! My only suggestion... More

Great experience. I took my wife here to celebrate her birthday and it was an excellent choice. The location is great, the rooms are super nice (ours had a wood burning fireplace), the breakfast was tasty (not just a continental, but home cooked and organic) and they are the greenest hotel in town. The staff was great too, no complaints... More
