I hope that when we return to Colorado we are able to stay at this beautiful little patch again. We had such an excellent experience with our hosts, cozy room, and delicious breakfast that we often find ourselves talking about it as a highlight of our trip. They are very sweet and calm individuals. There are healthy options for breakfast... More

Upon arrival, we found our inn keeper chatting with another employee, having lunch in the living room. She was very quiet, said what had to be said and nothing more. Our room (Cameron) was much smaller that it appears in the photos. The bathroom shower and sink were beyond small. Our room faced west, and we still heard a lot... More

We are sorry that you feel your stay here was less than our typical experience. Our home was built in the 1880s in the heart of the city and while it has had several additions to bring it to 10 rooms, they are all modestly-sized. We do try to focus first and utmost priority on customer service so I do... More

This was our second time to stay at the Briar Rose, the last time being several years ago. The people who check you in and serve you breakfast are very, very nice. We stayed in the more expensive Windom Room in the ''carriage house" on our way to Rocky Mtn. National Park (an easy ride) and in the Red Cloud... More

We had looked forward to our stay in this well-rated B&B. On the sunny side of things: Our room was well equipped and clean, nice sitting room area and well-kept garden. Free WiFi and two guest computers plus printer. Boulder downtown only a leisurely 10 minute walk away. But considering the price per night, those things did not compensate for... More

Thank you for staying with us and for your honest words. We are indeed located in the heart of a growing and busy city, and while it was a charming-looking piece of our home's history, it was definitely time for that old door to the balcony to be upgraded. Following your advice have replaced that door with a newer, quieter,... More

When we arrived I had a nasty altitude headache, which was solved by a cup of tea graciously served in the living room. Another nice surprise was finding the New York Times on hand. The room was very nice, the breakfast was delicious, and the meditation center -- not something I was looking for -- was lovely.

A cozy, quiet, and well-maintained b&b conveniently located within walking distance of Boulder restaurants and shops. I enjoyed the generous home-cooked breakfasts, with healthy and delicious choices. Free WiFi and water in the rooms, and access to desktops and a printer in the lobby area. Very friendly staff.

We have come to Briar Rose several times and stayed in five different rooms. We love them all! I recently returned from staying there for a week. Usually after a week away I am ready to get back home, but at the Briar Rose you feel like you are at home, not at a hotel, so I was sad to... More

From the minute we arrived, each member of the staff provided information about things to do, including things we would never have known about. The breakfasts were nourishing and plentiful and very healthy. The ambience was peaceful, beautiful and every detail had been attended to. Particularly nice were the daily baked goods with coffee and tea available. We stayed three... More

Briar Rose was a lovely little place Close to everything. Staff was very open and helpful, and all types of people stopped by as if it was a Family home . Food was very good, and they were very accomodating when we did not care for french toast. They made us a veggie scramble

Our room was small, but adequate. We loved sitting in the garden area, and had access from our room to go outside without going through the house. Breakfast was very good, and they were friendly and willing to meet every need. They had snacks available 24 hours. They have an excellent tea collection. It is in walking distance of some... More
