This Bed and Breakfast was so quaint and cozy! Everyone who worked here was so kind and caring. They really make you feel comfortable and welcome. And the food was amazing! I highly recommend staying here if you travel this way.

Really enjoyed this place, it is beautiful and in a perfect location 6 minutes outside of downtown boulder tucked in the mountains! The style is wonderful- like a large cabin with lots of fireplaces and you are welcomed with cookies, tea/hot cocoa/coffee/water. It is secured behind a locked door which is great but just realize you need to get "buzzed"... More

Stayed for a long weekend during the prime golden Aspen season. Was greeted warmly by the staff and even the owners. Surely the owners had a million things that they could have been doing but they took the time to visit and to get to know us. They recommended that we drive up the canyon to look at the Aspen... This was the place we got married at and had our honey moon!!! Awesome! Breakfast was the best! Thinking of coming back for our 3 year anniversary!!! Definitely a place you want to go! Check it out! Right out of the town of Boulder! Beautiful drive up and right on the mountain

Charming old place falling apart, plentiful bugs, spiders, spider webs. Spent the first half hour swatting flies and killing spiders. Left up the multiple webs so maybe they might get the hint but I doubt it. Attitude of owners and help was like they were awaiting their execution. Breakfast would be better at Macs. Stay in town this is not... More

The B&B looks like a cool place, but it is right along the busy Boulder Canyon road. The service was "ehh". There is rarely anyone at the front desk, and the breakfast choices were not that varied- Quiche of some sort every day and one other option. We had great scones on day 1. Theye were warma nd seemed fresh,... More

This was a fairly nice lodge-like hotel at a great price. The room was clean and quiet and the breakfast was tasty. It's just a minutes walk to the boulder creek trail. Our only gripe was that the drive is a bit difficult to get in and out, especially as fast as folks drive on Boulder Canyon Drive. No cell... More

The Alps is…interesting. Yes, it is quirky and has what I’ve heard once called “colonial charm”. Colonial charm is associated with older, run down venues with original materials and fixtures. “Original” is code for “may not work quite as originally built”. The Alps DOES scratch the itch for “not cookie-cutter”. Your stay will have specific memories that would be difficult... More

Overall I called this average. On the plus side, the people/staff were great, super friendly and helpful. The location is great to read a novel in pleasant weather. The hotel itself needs an upgrade. Leaking faucets, low flow shower heads that didn't work that well, very worn, and my room smelled funny. Busy highway where people drive way too fast,... More

Sorry I don't remember more about the place, we were pretty caught up on each other. The place was lovely with nice patios and lots if lounge solace. Great service
