This Inn is tucked away into the side of a mountain just beside a creek and about a 5mins drive from the city. Choose to stay here if you prefer being away from the bustle of the city, enjoy old world charm, love being in the midst of nature and have your own transport too. Our room (Magnolia) was large... I've been in Bed and Breakfasts in Vermont, Cambridge MA, Dillon CO and Breckenridge and this was the worst and most expensive of the lot. Actually the other B&Bs were just fine. The room was neat and clean but boring, couldn't open the back door to the patio, the common areas were dark and gloomy, and the breakfasts were awful.... More

The Inn is close to the city, opposite of Creek nature-walk, but was difficult to find: it is located within a curve of a mountain road, and their dark sign is near the building, not at the remote driveway entrance. If you miss it, it is very difficult to turn around. Do not attempt to find it in the dark.... More

We booked a room at The Alps for one night when visiting Boulder before a camping adventure in Rocky Mt National Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Alps!! From the moment we checked in until we left, we felt at home and comfortable. The Whole place is filled with charm and character and we found it to be... More

We were three people and we all slept like babies! From 10 at night to 8 the next morning, perhaps it was the clean mountain air or the idyllic surroundings, it was one of the most comfortable and charming places to stay. The inn and the bedrooms are so charming and comfortable, breakfast was great, the cookies and after dinner... More

Nice and relaxing. The breakfast was yummy. The breakfast was choices of oatmeal, quiche, and waffles. And a nice hot cranberry scone. With butter, jelly, or lemon sauce. The drinks are coffee, tea, and orange juice. The evening cookies were good. It smelled good when we walked in the alps. It smelled like wood burning. It brings back memories of... More

I stumbled upon this Inn because of their ski and stay deals with Eldora Ski Area. The Inn is about 30 minutes from the mountain. We stayed for 3 nights in the Sugarloaf room. The room was very spacious with a large Jacuzzi tub and access to an outside patio. The bed was very comfortable. The hospitality and service at... More

The room, 210 Eldora, was very inviting with an over-sized bathroom and fireplace. A door opened to the outside patio with just a short walk to the hot tub. The reception/living area was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very friendly and accommodating.

We stayed here for three nights in September. I would like to give this a 3.5 rating but I don't see that option. The lodge is a bit tricky to find especially at night. As another reviewer mentioned, the owners should invest in a sign or something so guests can find the sidewalk/road entrance easier. Some parts of the lodge... More

What ever happened to "Truth In Advertising?" This place looked NOTHING like its promotional photos, and the room description was even worse. The carpet was old and dirty, there was dried food on the worn, faded quilt on my bed, there were bugs in the shower, the jacuzzi was missing a control knob, I was told not to use the... More
