The lodge has about 8 campsites, which are not recommended. The sites are in a parking lot, right next to a busy highway. The sites have enough space for a car, picnic table and tent. You WILL be woken up by your neighbors, unless you sleep as if in a coma. Jacuzzi is hot, but the jets do not work. more

My wife and I were referred to the Eldora ski area from a friend from Estes Park. We found Boulder Mountain Lodge from the Eldora website. We found that Boulder Mountain Lodge was everything that we were hoping for. We were in room #26, large room, with full kitchen. This room had a flat screen TV, with several local channels.... more

We stayed in room #35. It was a 1 bedroom suite with a separate living room area. It had a kitchen area as well. We booked it for the private patio and hot tub. Overall we felt like we got a deal for what we paid. The room itself is old but fine. The rooms were clean and the a/c... more

This certainly is a comfortable place to rest your head, but if you are looking for luxary, look elsewhere. The rooms could definitely use a fresh coat of paint and a thorough cleaning. The furntiture and bedding was old and tattered. It is a nice retreat outside of the city, but don't set your expectations too high. more

We orginially booked at a lodge closer to ElDora ski area and then another location in Boulder and had some very bad experiences in more expensive less attractive places. The next night, we contacted boulder mountain lodge and they were very helpful and had a room cheaper than the first place we stayed. The room was clean and confortable. The... more

First of all, this is a basic place. If you want a four star retreat in the woods, look elsewhere. For the reasonable price you'll spend here (for Boulder) you will get comfortable accommodations VERYconveniently located to downtown Boulder. Being a light sleeper, when I walked toward my room I was disappointed to see that both rooms on either side... more

We would not recomment this lodging to anyone. The staff was extremely unfriendly and rude. The manager had the very same attitude which is proabaly why the staff treated clients in the manner in which they did. The price is definitely not worth the stay. We would recommend anywhere else in the area over this property. more

We found this place through an online search. Sounded great...boasted about how clean the rooms were, etc. Not so. The rooms are very outdated, ours was in need of a good scrubbing, and we spent time squashing spiders on the walls. The one outdoor hot tub was a stand alone tub off the parking lot and was murky, and the... more

Boulder Mountain Lodge provides simple but adequate accommodations for the traveler who places more value on being in communion with nature and the opportunity to relax over having their every superficial need met. I felt revived after only a two-night stay. True - I had fantasies about how the place could be slightly upgraded/renovated, but if that were to happen,... more

Pros: Cheap (especially for foo-foo Boulder), nice stream and picnic areas near the rooms Cons: Dingy, depressing rooms The rooms are small, dark, musty and haven't seen renovation since Watergate. The property itself is very convenient to Boulder--literally five minutes from downtown and surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. more
