We arrived about an hour after check in time. My two children, my husband and I unloaded our bags into the room and proceeded outside to check out the canyon grounds of this motel before we headed to Boulder for shopping/dinner. While exploring, we entered the "Reading Room", which is a small lobby in front of the office. There is... More

Dear Shhhh, thank you for staying with us. I am sorry you were did not come to speak with us about your concerns. If you had I could have explained that the man who asked you to be quite was not me and he was hosting a meeting at the lodge. I further would have reminded him that here we... More

We stayed weekend before Thanksgiving 2013 in the cabin for two nights, and it was cold. Linens on bed were clean, but weren't adequate; summer weight. Heat was sporadic and temperamental; noisy and little bit scary. Five of us in three bedrooms and full kitchen, but only enough plates, cutlery (no glassware) etc. for 4 (including chairs at kitchen table).... More

After several days in western Colorado, it was honestly a bit of a culture shock to come back to Boulder - just PEOPLE EVERYWHERE. Boulder Mountain Lodge had a lot of people, too - it was very busy the two nights that we stayed there, but still managed to be fairly quiet. Our room (queen with 3/4 bath) was clean... More

My husband and I were there in August 2013 for a wedding. We loved it. The staff was wonderfully helpful. The hot tub was toasty. The grounds were well-kept and pleasant. We didn't cook there, but we did use the refrigerator for breakfast and picnic items. Worked just fine. I will stay there again in the future. DId not notice... More

Stay in August 2013. Good-location, price low (but good reason) , a few amenities. Bad- many bugs, some bad staff, some dirt, not full kitchenettes, variable internet/cell access. Pleasant summer camp style lodge along shady creek and by popular creek path and road into Boulder. "Kitchenette" room with good bed, adequate bath and nice table and chairs, TV and dresser,... More

Honestly was a little Leary at first! However we reserved the suite with a private hot tub. It was secluded and quiet, only the calming sounds of the river. Room and private hot tub were very clean and well kept. Staff was curious and informative! Would defiantly stay here again!!

The place is very run down and quite noisy. The motel is close to a busy road. It is great access to the Boulder Creek but all night you can hear the noise of the road. There isn't air conditioning and the small room was very hot. The bed was uncomfortable. I didn't sleep well. The owners are not nice.... More

If you are looking for an authentic "cottage like" hotel situated close to the mountains with immediate access to hiking and biking trails yet close enough to Boulder (less than a 5 minute drive) to enjoy the attractions of the city, you will enjoy Boulder Mountain Lodge. My sister and I stayed for two nights in a two room suite... More

We stayed here for two nights while attending a family gathering in Boulder. Its location is just five minutes to downtown Boulder which made it very convenient for all the events of the weekend. The lodge is easy to find, the rooms are clean and well appointed. We stayed in a kitchenette which was plenty big enough for the two... More

Just want to say that I was disappointed in their customer service. I made the unfortunate mistake of making a reservation at this lodge in CO instead of the same named lodge in Utah - I called in the day of the reservation to let them know what happened but I didn't know they had charged me full price for...
