The location is spectacular! One mile from Boulder, yet you are out in the wild where the bears and mountain lions can be heard at night. Very nicely updated facilities thanks to the new owners. They are "good people"! I highly recommend this lodge for it is a work in progress and a valuable resource for Boulder as well.

Great place to stay in Boulder. Close to town but not buried in it. Came in in the afternoon without a plan for what to do, the owners Asa And Chris were extremely friendly and had great advice on where to go climbing and hiking. Room was spacious and mostly well-equipped. Had no microwave but an oven, but also no... More

Hey Eric! Thanks for the great review! Psyched that you guys were able to get out and check out some local crags and hikes, even if your buddy did fall in the river... Makes for a good story anyways. Thanks for the feedback in the pots and pans, great point for rooms that don't have microwaves. Hope you guys had... More

We stayed with the whole family of 5 in the two bedroom lodge. You can see the new owners are working hard at getting the place into what they envision. It was clean, simple and for the price perfect. Only a couple minutes from town, but it felt like you were out in the wilderness. Bring your own pillows, the... More

I thought the location was wonderful and it was good for the price. It obviously needs updating that I know they are working on. I left my favorite pair of ski pants there in a drawer and called the hotel multiple times and was promised the housekeeper would call me back. Never heard a peep so that was disappointing on... Hey Rhonda, I'm SO sorry that were never able to track down those ski pants for you! I definitely made sure to ask each of my staff member if they remembered seeing them, and unfortunately that didn't turn anything up. Thank you for mentioning our updates and beautiful location! We're working really hard to provide some more modern amenities and... More

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was very close to downtown with a car. RIght along a peaceful creek, friendly staff. Its not the ritz carlton, so don't go expecting that, but for around $100 a night it was certainly a better option for me that going to the fancier hotels that i normally go to for work. I'll... We had three nights here and I loved every minute. The king suite was very spacious and very clean. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is well appointed. The restaurant on property is amazing too. Staff was friendly and competent. We will be back for sure as the area is filled with beautiful hikes and drives!

Love this place. Only 15 minutes from Boulder restaurants, hiking trails, etc. but you feel like you are deep in the mountains. There is a wonderful stream right in front of the hotel. The sound of it transports you. This is not a fancy place - but it is clean and the staff are very nice. Plus, this place doesn't... More

I had only one night in Boulder and did not want a chain hotel and this little gem was perfect! A little out of the town, but it was so cute and super friendly staff and a comfy bed. Exactly what I needed.

The location for Boulder Mountain Lodge could not have been better, being tucked away in the mountains and still only a 5 minute drive from the city. There is plenty of nearby hiking, with a few trails within walking distance of the lodge itself. Management here was incredibly helpful, from helping sort out a booking issue to recommending places to... More

Beautiful location. 60s style. They could check the bed cover before reusing it and run some bleach thru the jacuzzi tub between guest. Besides that I loved it. Be careful if going during the winter. The Boulder Falls trail was closed and we were glad to have 4 wheel drive jeep.
