we have always tried to stay in the Lodge if at all possible. Because they have the fewest rooms, it is some times not possible. We love the location, you are right in the middle of all the action. The buffet is the very best, morning, noon, or night. Our rooms have always been the very best. Quiet, clean and... more

This was the 2nd time we have stayed at the Lodge. The first time was for our honeymoon and this time just to get away. Both times, the staff was very friendly and helped with any problems. We have eaten at the White Buffalo and at the buffet. Both were very good. The rooms were very clean. Showers are a... more

My mom and I stayed here Dec. 11. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The beds were comfortable. Bath and Body Works soaps, shampoos. The gal at check in was extremely nice. Had a great buffet for breakfast and lunch. We had a perfect stay here. I would stay here more often but the rooms seem to fill... more

Took my office for Christmas Party. Rooms (4) were clean but very basic. Went to dinner at the "White Buffalo" expensive dinner for 8 of which 4 people got their dinner 1/2 hour late. They did say they would "throw in dessert" for our inconvenience later to find out it was included in the dinner already. Ok meal but way... more

After reading your negative reviews, we were almost afraid to stay here. Thank goodness we used our good sense and gave the Lodge a try. The rooms were clean; we smelled no smoke (the casino is also smoke free); the only noise we heard was the stream outside our window which lulled us to sleep. We had the best bath... more

In spite of the cutesy, charming, tv ads The Lodge runs, this casino has the rudest staff and worst customer service I've ever encountered. In the past I was treated very rudely by a slot technician who was reluctant to pay me the cash I was due from a machine. Yesterday a machine my friend was playing did not emit... more

Second hand smoke comes into the non-smoking rooms at night thru the ventilation/heating system. This is the second time we have had this happen to us. If you want to choke on second hand smoke in a non-smoking room for $145.00 a night, have at it. I reported this twice now without a response. more

We are fairly frequent visitors to Black Hawk and stayed at over at The Lodge this visit. There are 50 rooms at this hotel with no guests allowed under 21. The check in clerk was friendly and efficient. The rooms are very nicely furnished. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The room was clean. The problem is the large windows do... more

Stayed at the Lodge for our anniversary. The room was beautiful, very large, very clean. The staff was friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who asked. Beautiful decor, the bathroom was spacious and clean. more
