I have stayed at the Lodge before but it has been years. Updated rooms nice granite baths and comfortable beds. Worth a trip to Blackhawk. Although the restaurant was booked we found a seat at the bar. Could use to update the seating but the food was well worth it. Buffet was great the next morning as were the Bloody... More

We use to think The Lodge buffet was the best in Blackhawk or Central City, but now I'd have to give the title of best buffet to the Ameristar. We've ate at buffet at the Lodge a few times in the past couple of months. They are serving less chicken and fewer beef items and more pork and shellfish items... More

We have enjoyed these rooms many times. They offer large rooms that are always clean. Bathrooms have modern fixtures with a beautiful shower behind glass doors. These rooms have all the amities that a over night would need. The staff at the front desk are always friendly and willing to assist your every need. The shower has large towels and... More

After calling Guest Services and talking to a very nice young lady, we were able to be guests of this extremely nice hotel. Yes, it is part of the Lodge Casino, but it is so removed from the gaming area, you never know that is part of that facility. We have stayed there in previous years and like the location,... More

My wife and I stayed for only one night as that was all the time we had available. The staff from manager to those who take care of the room were great. The hotel only has 50 rooms. Ours was very large and comfortable, clean, and newly renovated and very comfortable. Plenty of room for reading or just relaxing. We... More

The rooms and check-in is on the third floor. The Buffet is on the second floor. The player card counter is on the first floor. The room is remodeled. I stayed at the lodge in 1999. The furniture in 1999 was log furniture. The room has a coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom shower is nicely tiled.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel @ Lodge Casino around Christmas. We originally were told only smoking rooms were left, so we were prepared to stay in a smelly room... much to our pleasure, we were given a non-smoking room at check-in. The room was nice and roomy; the bathroom was clean and bed was comfy. The hotel... More

I enjoyed the Buffet for breakfast very much. It seems the price is more than fair for all you get. Of the three days I was there, we ate there twice for breakfast. The service was great and well organized. Only had one bad event while there, but it must have been a off day for the young cashier. My... More

My husband and I usually stay at a neighboring casino hotel but we received a room comp in the mail. I am SO glad we decided to stay here - what a pleasure! It was my birthday and after we checked into the hotel, we entered our room and on the coffee table sat a wonderful birthday cake w/plates and... More

I have won my biggest jackpots in Black Hawk at the Lodge. Also the buffet is wonderful, I love the Saturday and Sunday Champagne Brunch. The hotel rooms rival those in Vegas. Very nice linens, pillows and comfy beds.
