We hadn't eaten at Glen Echo for about 15-20 years. (See an early review to see why.) We heard there was new ownership of Glen Echo, so we went down to see. We ended up ordering dinner for seven, all of which came to less than $65. In remote places like the mountains, we don't expect good prices, so the... More

"Tammy" was super helpful & insightful upon making reservation & Linny was equally pleasant upon checkin. one of the owners even hand delivered an adaptor to facilitate our hookup. the river was gorgeous... We stayed at Glen Echo Resort this past weekend and had a wonderful time. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. One of the owners, Dan, even lent us an electrical adapter for our camper! The restaurant's food was tasty and priced very reasonably, and the items in the store were priced much lower than we expected for a store... More

The Glen Echo Resort in actually in Rustic, Colorado (a small "t" the highway network, not even a crossroad). The Resort caters to summer travel trailers, and offers both rustic and more luxurious accommodations at all seasons. We were hunting so thought a rustic cabin would be just the ticket. We should have tented on the highway. Rustic cabins lack... More

Not always open so call first. We visited on a Saturday for lunch. We ordered the classic hamburger one with onion rings and one with fries. Wow, what a great hamburger! 1/2 pound of perfection. We tried to stop again on Monday and were disappointed as they were closed. I recommend a stop anytime you are driving up or down... More

We would not camp there again. The campsites are so close together that the gooseneck beside us had his pop outs touching our travel trailer awning. The playground is falling apart and littered with trash. There is one bathroom for the entire "resort." The campground is tiny, yet they allow people to ride their ATVs and dune buggies around all... Glen Echo is a great base for skiing or hiking in the Poudre Canyon, to avoid driving back to Port Collins. We rented a "Duplex" with some friends and were really happy with it: two queen bedrooms plus sleeper sofa; the decor is definitely a bit dated but it was *very* clean and had everything we needed. In addition, we... More

I am a regular visitor to Glen Echo Resort in Rustic, CO nestled in the beautiful Rocky Mt. National Park. Glen Echo is just 30 miles from Laporte, CO and another five miles from Fort Collins, home of Colorado State University. Since I hold my family reunions there, I am only familiar with the largest facility known as the "Penthouse"... More

The location is great, in general the facilities are good, the cabin itself is very cute and good size. But the bed! OMG! It was stiff as a board, It was like sleeping on the floor. I tried the couch instead and it was the opposite, it was like sleeping on top of jaba the hut. it is an old... More
