Three retired men fishing, looking for wildlife, and scenic driving. We found Archer's Cabin 5 a delightful place to stay. The workers at Archer's went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The cabin was clean, as were all the grounds, and had everything we needed. Everything worked great....small shower but lots of pressure and hot water. The... More

First and foremost, this is the only time I've every taken the time to write a review on a place I've stayed while on vacation. I'm generally very easy to please, especially when it comes to service and hospitality. The staff here is a complete JOKE. I'm all about down to earth people but this felt more like dealing with... We called and reserved an RV spot and were able to get one the middle of June. We got to park and were surprised that there are 4 RV sites and 3 of them occupied by work campers. So felt very lucky to be here. There are some nice cabins on the property and a big hot tub. Also a... More

We have stayed there for years, in several different cabins. An easy day drive from home to "home". Seems private, they leave you alone, but if you need anything they get it almost at once. (we needed a bread knife and a big pot for crab legs and they delivered them right to the cabin). Believe me, if we didn't... More

We stayed in cabin 15 at Archer's for a ski weekend with another family. It's a nice, rustic (just like the town name!) place that is a good base for activities in the Poudre Canyon. Cabin 15's layout is a little odd (one of the bedrooms is huge and the other is tiny), but is good for a group because... More

We went to Archers's and rented cabin 14 for the labor day weekend. The price was not overly expensive for such a busy weekend. Upon arrival I noticed that the staff was not overly nice. Now this does not mean they are rude by any means. They are just real down home people that are not fake. Cabin 14 is... More

I bought a two night stay through Deal Chicken. I upgraded to a better cabin because all of the Deal Chicken cabins were taken and ended up in number 14. It was cozy - see the other reviews of cabin 14. The bed was very uncomfortable and the place smelled of stale cigarette smoke. After running the ceiling fans and... More

Weekend camping trip with the family...we tent camp so are used to 'roughing it'. However, ONE toilet in the same stall as ONE shower for all tent campers? I can do without showering for the weekend, but to stand in line for the one and only bathroom, especially when traveling with kids is just sad. We asked the clerk where... More

We stayed in cabin #8, Quiet, cozy & quaint. Had everything we needed in the kitchen for some serious cooking. WiFi worked along with satellite TV if you're looking for that kind of distraction. The fire pit areas around the cabins & by the river are awesome. The cabin needs a little updating but nothing extreme. The location is beautiful to take a... Over the 40+ years my family has vacationed in the Poudre Canyon, we've occasionally stayed in the cabins that are now part of Archer's Poudre River Resort. On the latest trip, my aunt and uncle stayed in one cabin. I do not remember the cabin number, but it had a loft, if that helps. They are quite particular about their... More
