We spent a glorious weekend at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, enjoying their exceptional facilities on a warm and sunny spring weekend. Had it been ski season, it would have been even better with 2 lifts right there for ski in, ski out convenience. The 5 outdoor hot tubs might have been busier, too, than during our off season stay--we... More

hi, i live in avon, co which is right across the way from beaver creek. i kind of feel bad that people pay sooo much to stay at the hyatt. i agree, the service can be downright awful, it's really a shame. the food is mediocre... anyhoo... we stayed there for the halloween fun fest. the hyatt offers a huge... We stayed at the Park Hyatt in Beaver Creek. It was a wonderful stay with just a few exceptions. The pros are the ski in & ski out. Everything from shopping to ski school right in out the back door. We were acknoledged immediately upon arrival and we were given a room right away and the staff was very happy... More

I completely agree with the review "Buyer Beware". My contribution is that everything lacking at this hotel was in abundance at the Sonnenalp Resort in Vail. Sonnenalp made our family holiday happen after 24 hrs at the tired, overpriced "executive" dungeon I slept in at the Hyatt. The only upside to this hotel, the location, is matched at the Sonnenalp... Great service, very nice people with no exceptions, well maybe except the obnoxious new york guests who really should stay home. This is a kids focused ski resort don't expect anything else. We have four so it works for us. Singles or couples might be overwhelmed during spring break at the schools. Expect to pay alot and don't forget to... More

Your overall satisfaction with this hotel really depends on why you choose to stay here. If you are skiing, especially if you have young children, then the convenience of the location can't be beat - you walk out the door, pick up your skis and the gondola is right there (and ski school is just next door). But, that is... More

We stayed here for *free* with our Hyatt points - and after our trip I am so happy we did not pay for it! SERVICE: front desk was extremely unpleasant and unaccommodating. We waited over 30 min for a drink in the lobby; she never brought back our room charge although we repeatedly asked. We told them to just sign... More

The Park Hyatt is EXCELLENT if travelling with children. Everything about the hotel is kid-friendly right up to and including the apres-ski in the beautiful lobby. The (FANTASTIC) Kids ski school is just out the hotel door, and the ski valet was very convenient. It is truly Ski-In/Ski-Out. The rooms were not quite as luxurious as I'd imagined, but were... More

As a first time visitors to Beaver Creek, we found the Hyatt to be perfect. We were a party of twelve with children with ages ranging from 5-17. The location of the hotel at the base of the mountain is spectaular. Getting/returning your ski equipment could not have been easier--the ski valet was located just outside the hotel near the... I stayed here for business for two nights. Very nice location - right on the ski slopes. The staff are generally friendly, but I had to wait in the lobby for 2 hours (until 5 pm) before they could get me checked into a room. The room was nice, but not anywhere close to what you expect for a rate... More
