My husband and I took a kids-free trip to Wilderness Trails Ranch to celebrate our anniversary, and we couldn't have picked a better place. We worried a bit at first about being the only ones there without kids but it wasn't an issue at all. You won't find a friendlier family than the Roberts Family. They truly make you feel... More

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our family ranging in age from 5 to 72. We had a great time riding horses (first time for most), hiking and just being with each other. The staff was great. The kids activities keep them busy and having fun. Watching our grandchildren ride for the first time and dancing was so much... More

My in-laws wanted to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary somewhere special, and they picked the right place for us all to celebrate together! We ranged in ages 4 to 74 and EVERYONE had fun! There were many activities to choose from each day - we rode horses, went on a hayride, hiked many times, went fishing on the property, and... More

Beautiful scenery, great accommodations, wonderful food. The most fun I have had at an all inclusive vacation place ever. Was a little concerned at first because it seemed the focus was on horse back riding. I rode the first day and decided that horseback riding was not for me. Still had a great time even though I didn't ride. Hiked,... More

I spent my first visit at WTR on their second week of "adult week" (although I do believe it families/kids would have a grand time). I go for the horseback riding and while that was very good, I must say the food took over! Chefs Sky and Vincent made spectacular customized meals every day, including two outdoor cookouts. There were... More

Our family decided to gather to celebrate a college graduation and get together. There were nine of us from four states in the east coast, west coast, and midwest. After doing a good deal of research we settled on Wilderness Trails Ranch; this was with a bit of trepidation because of the group, several were not keen on horse riding.... More

Im sitting in my office in Midtown Manhattan in the middle of December looking at photos from the ranch this summer and feeling warm despite the chilly winter weather. Friendly and accomodating staff, Spectacular location, fun and tailored activities.... I don't have a bad thing to say about this place!

My husband and I live in Colorado and we went to WTR this summer with our 3 year old daughter. I love horses and my husband had ridden once before. By the end of the week, he was way more into horses than I've ever been. My daughter had a small group for the kid's camp, but luckily there was... More

With the exception of Jan, the female half of the proprietorship who was on occasion, capriciously rude and unwelcoming, the staff at WTR was really quite wonderful, providing me with an experience of a liftetime. It is because of her unwarranted hostility that I cannot in good conscience give the totality of the experience the 5 Stars I would, otherwise,... More

This was an interesting and exciting week though I personally prefer to be in mixed company. Still, I enjoyed the experience and enjoyed being pampered by the staff. The food was fabulous and the Thursday evening dance was lots of fun. And, the guests were a fun mix of adventurous women. At one point during one of my morning walks... More
