I stayed at WTR and it met my every expectation. I was there in May and returned again in July. The staff friendly and helpful, food was great and was plentiful. The rooms exceptional and very private. Everyday I had an expectation of what I wanted to do and was facilitated in every way, from insuring my trip to the... More

Wtr is a beautiful place, but the ranch is pathetic. The place is old,run down, and simply nasty. The staff treat you with no respect and the employees are treated poorly by the owners. My stay here was a mess.

Wilderness Trails Ranch was my daughter's Make-A-Wish trip destination. We couldn't have asked for a better fit for our family and her situation. Our daughter is an experienced horse rider and we are not, so I was a little skeptical of how her father and I would do riding horses there. They had training for us and horses that met... More

My family has stayed at WTR many times over a thirty year period. We love the family atmosphere of the ranch and the wilderness adjacent to it. It is a wonderful location to get away from the city, your work, meet new friends and experience a magnificent land. The owners and staff are always hospitable, helpful and friendly. There may... This was our sixth guest ranch experience. We have stayed at two others, one twice and the other three times. Here's how they compare: Wilderness Trails was more expensive than the one we have visited three times (the other one is no longer in business); the cabin we had could have been more comfortable by placing furnishings differently; and it... A friend and I decided to go to Wilderness Trails Ranch for Cowgirl Week after reading the good reviews. We went to bond and have some camaraderie with ladies of similar interests. Well, we soon found out that, other than one woman who brought her own horse and stayed in her trailer, we were the only guests staying at the... More

Recently returned from fourth year visiting the ranch. It is truly a spectacular place for a family vacation. My grandson age 11 was gone from 7 am until 10 pm in constant motion with fishing, riding, tubing and just hanging out with his new friends. My disabled adult daughter loved the riding and playing pool. I was alone but met... More

From the moment we drove in to the Wilderness Trails Ranch, we knew we were in for a treat! Nestled in a mountain valley, the setting of the ranch house and surrounding log cabins is breathtaking. The highlight of our trip was the daily horseback riding on the mountain trails and even helping the wranglers move cattle. Novice and experienced... More

Our family of 4 (2 kids ages 6 & 8) just returned from WTR. The good reviews on TripAdvisor are true! We had a wonderful week. The first night home our son cried himself to sleep because he missed "his" horse. The staff really set WTR apart-- they were all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed getting to know the other... More
