We shared a private cabin with another couple & found this Inn to be wonderful & beautifully appointed with extremely comfortable beds! The setting is gorgeous, right alongside the Frying Pan River which is a Gold Medal Fly Fishing river for those interested. It's literally steps from our door to the rivers edge. This wonderful lodge is located only 20 minutes drive from Aspen. Yards away from the building runs a delightful, melodic river. One can sit upon padded chairs at river’s edge and contemplate God’s beauty! Newly owned and redone, the rooms were good sized, luxuriously decorated, and very clean. The Lodge At River's Edge was our first Bed & Breakfast experience and we will never be able to stay in a hotel again. This recently renovated B+B is under new ownership and although we never stayed there before, it is obvious that the new owners are off to an awesome start!
