We stayed 3 nights in the cottage at Wicky-Up and loved it! Monica and Jack are amazing hosts who know the area and provide maps, history and ideas to see all that this beautiful area has to offer. We couldn't have done so much in such a short time without them. Every morning Monica prepared a gourmet breakfast with organic... More

While planning our trip to the Sequoia/Kings' Canyon area, we felt Wicky-Up would be a great base for a three night stay. We quickly discovered Wicky-Up to be an oasis of coziness and comfort amongst the foothills. The ranch house is a delightful mix of architectural whimsy and family history. Lots of relaxing outdoor spaces, complete with bird sounds and... More

My husband and I recently stayed 4 nights at Wicky-Up Ranch in the Garden Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Warm inviting hosts ( we wanted to make smores one night so Monica and Jack made sure we had everything we needed to start a fire and even made us skewers out of coat hangers), incredibly delicious breakfasts, beautiful scenery, and... Wow... what a gem! So grateful for our stay at the Wicky-Up Ranch! Such a refreshing visit! The location is convenient to Sequoia National Park, just as the Sierra foothills transition to the orange groves of the valley. The ranch is beautiful... lots of amazing craftsmanship combined with rich family history and Monica's exquisite attention to detail. We arrived later... More

What a lovely surprise! The hosts are just fantastic, their hospitality is second to none, interior is wonderful down to every last detail. We visited the Sequoia National Park and went horse riding, interesting and intelligent conversation in the evenings and lovely organic breakfasts in the morning. Highly recommended :-)

Wicky-Up Ranch bed and breakfast is the real bed and breakfast experience, and in the five days since my husband and I stayed there we have stayed at other bed and breakfasts that by contrast underline what an exceptional place Wicky-Up is--from the beautifully maintained California fourth-generation owned ranch house to the warm hospitality that the owners Monica and Jack... In trying to find some place to stay while visiting relatives in the tiny town of Woodlake, CA, in February, we discovered a wonderful Bed and Breakfast at Wicky-up Ranch. A turn of the century home built by the owner's relatives in 1902, it is charming and comfortable. I could sit on the veranda for days! The breakfasts were gourmet... More

My husband and I recently stayed two nights in the Juliana suite and we very much enjoyed our stay. Located in Woodlake, California a short drive from Sequoia NP, this fantastic place is located in a working orange grove. We found our bedroom to be clean and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Innkeeper Monica served us outstanding breakfasts...... More

Just booked another stay at this adorable B and B. Stayed last year for my birthday and had such an enjoyable time, I'm booking again this year. We stayed in the Garden Cottage last year because it was the only room available. It's got a queen size bed with a twin bunk on top, so if you're looking for a... More

Book this place for a little get away for my husband and I. The hosts were wonderful even before we arrived making suggestions for us for dinner after we arrived from a long flight. The restaurant recommended was a hit! We arrived at the location and was a little surprised at the surroundings, but stepping out of the car, we... More
