The wife and I arrived after dark on a 2 week motorcycle trip from Arizona up to Crescent City and then down the coast to San Diego. The gentleman in the office checked us in and gave us a room where we could park outside our door. The room was nice and clean. We unloaded our gear and went across... More

It was dark we just wanted to sleep. First time we didn't look at room before paying. Plumbing pipes are showing, tiny little tv. We went across the street to get a pizza, the guy said thats the worst place to stay in town, apparently there are great cabins one block away. what a bummer that night was-don't waste your... More

A friendly smile awaits at the Bigfoot Motel in Willow Creek but all is not as it seems. The pool has long since gone, a victim of health and safety, and Bigfoot is not in his cage. You can put your kids in instead. Our room was designed for disabled guests so was roomy for a family of 4. The... More

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. The rooms are small, the beds are horrible, i wished i had a haz-mat suit on when i tried to sleep...the toilet ran all night. They dont clean these rooms well at all. I was back early on day and saw the maid cleaning the room...she threw my pillows on the floor, made my bed,... More

We stayed here only because we were desperate and exhausted from driving all day. Hwy 299 is pretty desloate. If we could have made it to Weaverville we would have. I wish we did after our experience. Positives: the owner was very nice and helpful. Plenty of hot water and the bath towels were clean and surprisingly soft. Washcloths were... More

If you like mattress springs jabbing you up in your ribs as you "try" to sleep at night after a log days drive - then this is the place for you! Absolutley horrible bed - you would be better off sleeping in the car! Customer service not very freindly, room was fairly clean but small and poorly lit. Not worth... More

Vallejo Chuck said it best......"it's what it is". We were on a motorcycle tour of the area and spent New Year's Eve 2011 here. It's the only motel in town. Not fancy and the furnishings look to be what somebody referred to as "second hand store sheek". However considering the age of the motel it was clean and the towels... More

Dirty and disgusting. If there was someplace else to stay I would've left. And not cheap for such a horrible place.
