This is a good family park! Family run, family owned, family oriented with specific activities for the young and old alike. Good place to bring the kids to see California's capital city! The staff is friendly and very service oriented. They used to be KOA and are now independent with the intention of upgrading. It is a quirky park with... More

just bought an RV and needed a few nights as we closed out our apartment in Sacramento. RV parks are few in the Sacramento area. This campground was a KOA, January 1st is now an independant campground. It is a nice sized campground with plenty of pull through 50 amp services spots. The pads are gravel and was challenging to... This was just a quick stop on our way back home. We checked in after the office was closed and left before they were open. They left easy instructions on which sites were open and how to register. The dog run was the best I've seen. It was very large-the size of some house lots! It had a cover with... More

I stayed one night in a tent site and thought it was nice. The grass was in good shape which helped to make a soft pad for the tent. There's a creek that runs behind the tent area. The restrooms were in okay shape although the showers were tiny; whoever thought it was a good idea to make showers 30... More

My partner and i reserved a tent site for one night while on a road trip. We were sleeping in a van and when we arrived we were made to pay for a rv pull through hookup site or lose our $40 deposit. The van does not have hookup. I asked I we could have a tent site anyway as... More

I read the previous mixed reviews and decided to give this KOA a try. Well it is noisy, gravel and dust, not clean restrooms, horrible wifi, and tv. The sites are on top of each other. However, We were greeted by the staff and they were very nice. Would like to see money spent on upgrades instead of fresheners for... More

We stayed at this KOA campground in a 5th wheel for 46 days while we transitioned from our home to full-time RV living. Because our length of stay was so long ...we got to know the entire team...who were "over the top" helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a clean, well managed, place to stay with a large... Stayed here the night before a business meeting in Sacramento. The place was mostly deserted. I had asked for a cabin with a double bed and table and was given one with a double bed and bunk beds. Didn't ask to switch because the other cabins were very obviously in the middle of being painted. Bathroom was decently clean though... More

We stayed in this campground for 3 days in mid November 2013. It's one of the few RV parks in the Sacramento area. Trashy full time trailers with crap stored under them. 2 trailers had 2 pit bulls each. The place was run down and just plain dirty. $50 per night is way too high for a dump.

Stayed here for 2 nights in a RV. The site is close to the I-80 and the traffic noise was constant all day and night. The pitches are very close together so if you value your privacy, give this place a miss. The showers were very small and not too clean. The grubby red mats inside each one seemed to... More
