This perfectly located hotel has a great staff; beautifully designed, equipped and comfortable rooms; efficient and friendly valet parking; yummy breakfast; chill rooftop pool scene; diverse and laid-back guests;..just perfect! Except we found the free fluffy slippers a little too hollywood! (maybe we just needed more time!)

My husband and myself just returned after spending 4 nights at the London. We had two children with us, almost five, and 1 year old. The staff was amazing and treated our family like we were meant to be there. We had amazing service and all were so friendly to my family and myself. We cannot recommend this hotel highly... More

Stayed at The London for four nights on our way back to Australia. Service was above and beyond and the room and bathroom were fantastic. The bathroom especially was one of the best I've ever seen in a hotel. Rooftop pool was lovely for sunset drinks. Hotel price was really reasonable for a top hotel in a very convenient location,... I recently stayed at The London West Hollywood Hotel. The hotel has a great location, nice facilities, great pool, friendly staff, large rooms but it would be an under estimate to say that nothing is perfect. When I was checking out at hotel I was running late by 15 minutes and the Assistant Manager at the reception who was the... More

I've been to lots of high-end hotels around the world, and The London stacks up with the best of the best. It is a quintessential LA hotel - great location, great food, great views, and spectacular rooftop pool. But the best part is the service. The staff reminded me of "Fantasy Island" - ("Smiles everyone, Smiles!"). The staff seemed genuinely... More

I love this hotel, its rooftop, and location. However, the food provided by the hotel for dining downstairs, rooftop pool area, and room service is horrible. If the food was delicious this property would receive 5-stars. Improve the menu and quality of food, please!!

We stayed in June 2010 and it was amazing. We came in December 2011 and it was just MAGIC! This place is our favorite hotel. First, the room. They are huge and beautiful. They are full equiped with a large bathroom. In 2010 we were in the last floor of the hotel, this time we were in floor 5 and... More

Overall, this is a lovely hotel with excellent service – Hubby’s new favorite in L.A. You may think I’m picky to mark it down for some things, but I have higher expectations in a $400 hotel room. Reservations got things off to a poor start. The London Suite I wanted was sold out, so I had to go to a... More

We loved every minute of a stay at The London, the staff were fantastic and always willing to go the extra mile. This was the first stop of our U.S adventure and it was most certainly the most outstanding hotel we stayed in throughout our stay. Highlights: * Buffet Breakfast (Included in price) the highest quality of food - the... More

Spent a week there in August with my wife and 2 teenage kids and LOVED IT. Rooms were absolutely HUGE (all suites) and gorgeous. Bathrooms bigger that most hotel rooms (I'm talking about you, W NYC), with not one but two side-by-side showers in the stall. Staff super helpful. Rooftop pool the perfect break from touring L.A. (and cool to... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
