As many hotels as we stay at this is the best, they treat us like family. Angel in the Terrace Restaurant can't do enough to take care of your every need and James Lukanik is a outstanding manager. Michael & Julie NeJaime

I took my girlfriend for a birthday brunch and it couldn't have been a better gift, the view is wow. She loved it! I highly recommend the tower smash and lobster tacos. The waitress Vika made the occasion special. She not only accommodated our needs but also intrigued us with the history of the hotel. Already recommended to my friends.

It was my first trip to LA and I only had a couple of nights. The Sunset Tower was the perfect introduction to the city. After a couple of hours exploring I went back to the hotel and didn't really leave..... fell in love with the understated elegance, amazing service and gorgeous rooftop pool terrace and restaurant/bar. There's also a... More

When I'm in LA, this is my hotel. As a former habitue of the Chateau Marmont, I love the Sunset Tower for all the reasons the Chateau used to be so great -- quiet, European style service; low key cool; a touch of old Hollywood with a whiff of the bohemian. (Okay - the Chateau has more than a whiff).... More

Great location on Sunset, lovely old school traditional LA hotel, very good service. Pool has great view over LA, restaurant is good although food could have been better. Our room wasn't huge (as a more old fashioned hotel I guess this is to be expected) but it's a lovely property.

I have stayed at the Sunset Tower when often in Los Angeles, the last few years, except for the times on last minute trips when they were fully booked. Except on those occasions my trips always feel like I am at home with family and friends. Now that I have purchased and am renovating a home in LA, the inly... More

Each year for the past seven years, my wife and I have stayed at Sunset Towers. Why, when it's as near as dammit perfection, would we ever want to go anywhere else? From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave you are treated like royalty. We had a Junior Suite for the duration, a lovely room overlooking the... More

My husband and I have now had the privilege, and I mean privilege, to stay in the Sunset Tower for yet another fabulous time. We promise ourselves that we will come back and stay for one day longer each time we leave. This year I celebrated my Birthday whilst there and could not have asked for a more wonderful Birthday-everything... More

I have stayed at the Sunset Tower Hotel many times over the past 4 years & have enjoyed it every time. The staff & service is amazing & always welcoming. This past trip my colleagues & I had the opportunity to meet Jacob who was both bartender & waiter to us throughout our 10 day stay. His level of service... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
