I recently stayed at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood. I had reserved a junior suite, but upon my arrival, I was given a complimentary upgrade to a penthouse suite. (I have no "in" here, nor am I their most frequent guest, I'm sure). My boyfriend joined me for our one-year anniversary, and it made our special weekend more... more

I was in LA for 3 nights visiting friends, who lived nearby. This hotel is what I was looking for, it was laid back & not a chain. There were several people from the movie industry here, but it's not a place to oggle them. It's more a place where people go to be left alone. The room was larger... more

From the moment we arrived, the staff at the Sunset Tower was fantastic. As our family of four drove up, a TV celebrity was getting his car but the valet staff never missed a beat and gave us the star treatment. The front desk staff was terrific and gave us quite an upgrade to a two-bedroom suite - huge! While... more

We stayed here for three nights, in a junior suite with an incredible panoramic view looking east/south/west out over L.A. The hotel has been beautifully decorated -- the feel of old Hollywood but very up-to-date and luxurious at the same time. Service was excellent, as was the location. Highly recommend breakfast by the pool, from which there are more spectacular... more

The Sunset Tower Hotel is a warm and welcoming oasis on the busy Sunset Strip. We stayed for one night to attend a performance of our son's band at the House of Blues, only two doors down from the hotel. The Sunset Tower made our overnight trip from the 'right' coast, feel like a mini vacation. The front desk staff,... more

We stayed 3 nights at the Sunset Tower during late January and had a great time. Everyone there was really friendly and did their best to help us in whatever we needed. The only down side is that there is no way to make tea or coffee in the room, I usually travel with my own herbal tea collection so... more

We just spent two nights, combining both business and pleasure travel, at the Sunset Tower and could not have ben happier. Arrived in he afternoon and were immediately offered a complimentary suite upgrade. The room was spacious with fine linens and a wonderful bath with a superb shower. The view of the city from the restaurant in the morning is... more

The Sunset Tower Hotel surpassed all our expectations. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a smile and great efficiency by the bell boy, this theme continued for the rest of our stay, the entire staff were always more than happy to be of assistance. We were upgraded to a one bedroom junior suite on arrival, the room... more

The Sunset Tower is a GREAT hotel. I stayed there the night before and the night of my wedding, using our one-bedroom suite as the "getting ready" room for me and my bridesmaids. The staff was great, and very accomodating of everything we needed that day. My sister had booked a room for the night of my wedding, and they... more

I booked a weekend stay at the Sunset Tower three months in advance. We arrived to have the front desk tell us that a group had decided to stay longer and they had to give up our reservation. They had made arrangements for us to stay at a Best Western down the street. No apology. Unbelievable. This was beyond bad... more
