Rude staff. We were kicked out of the pool at 7pm for no reason. The pool closes at 9pm and why I confirmed with the staff member that the pool closes at 9pm, he told me to, "Get the ***" out of the pool and I was also being kicked out of the hotel. The parents and kids he said... More

If the price is right! The Ramada Plaza Hotel and Suites in West Hollywood has a great location if you want to be close to Beverly Hills without their prices. We came from San Francisco and did not want to drive through LA. The staff arranged to have us picked up at the hotel take a tour of the city... More

I got charged for the room and didn't even stay there. They didn't allow late check in and failed to mention that but was more than happy to take my money when I didn't need the room the next night. I have never stay at the ramada and will never from this experience. Orbitz was on the line with me... More

Be ware! Filthy carpet that gave me a skin rash, broken televisions and an unfortunate run in with the property owner (an angry Australian man) who nearly ran over my wife with his car while we tried to park in the $30/day parking garage.

Visited over Gay pride Weekend and paid top $$ ($265/night) but that was to be expected. We found everything to be about 3* , lack of restaurant and room service only gripe. Slow lifts but great location, and we did not find it noisybat all.

No restaurant. No room service. Internet showed these as available. Long journey - tired on arrival. Only coffee available in room - allergic, so, asked for tea, No: asked for milk, No: asked for bottled water, No. 'Go out and buy some'! Drinks machine in hall, but only carbonated minerals (no water at all). Late evening. Dark. I am 72... More

It's not the Four Seasons... We stayed here over the July 4th Weekend 2011 and had a great time. We booked through an online discount website, so I think we got a great deal. We checked in about 6:30pm on Thursday June 30, after having spent 14 hours trying to get to LA from Chicago (don't ask.) Check-in went very... More

Thank you for your review. I'm glad to hear you had a good time over 4th of July weekend. Our restaurant is currently being converted into Kitchen 24, an exciting new concept that feel our guests will enjoy. Hotel parking is $27.00 per day, but as you mentioned, very common for West Hollywood and city hotel parking. I'm also glad... More

Location was good! Concierge brilliant! Reception staff very unhelpful and bordering on rude! Our room had no fridge and backed on to a fire stair well which was used by guests all hours of the day and night with a very loud heavy door! Our room overlooked a side street which was so noisy! We stayed for 5 nights none... More

Thank you for your review. I appreciate your comments regarding our concierge staff. I'm sorry to hear that our front desk staff were not as helpful as they should've been. I will share your comments with them regarding there lack of support, and why it is extremely important to assist our customers. All rooms have refrigerators, so I will need... More

We stayed one night and I’m glad to say it wasn’t any longer. The hotel was sadly just ok…. For a Ramada I was kind of disappointed, the hotel was very dated. The rooms were small; the bathroom was small and very outdated. The beds were surprisingly comfortable but they were small as well (Full Beds – Not Queens). The... More

Thank you for your review. I'm not sure about your comment about being dated, since the hotel was completely renovated in 2009. The guestrooms have either King Beds or our Double-Double rooms have Full XL beds, which are slight smaller than a Queen bed. The mattress are very good and we receive many positive comments about there quality. The hotel... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
