This hotel was just reopened as Andaz in January 2009. It was formerly the Hyatt known as the Riot Hyatt. It is on Sunset Blvd, across the street from other popular hotels such as The Standard, Mondrian. The service the moment we walked in the lobby was great. We loved how there is no "front desk". The staff greets you... more

We booked the room thru priceline..it costs $100. I did not get any thing special here. We got a very ordinary room..for the strip view we were asked to pay $75extra.. so we decided to stay in the room whatever they have offered us for priceline guests. I heared that they have recently renovated... but the decor of the room... more

Stayed here with colleagues for business. The best thing about the hotel is the beds are very comfortable. Checked in with an employee who had a laptop, wrinkled clothing and no name tag. Their is no front desk, so very informal. They are trying to be "hip", which would have been fine, but I could not tell the unshaven, wrinkled... more

If you can get room for less than $200 a night, Andaz a good place to stay on Sunset Blvd. Roof top pool was amazing. Great views. Rooms were super modern and clean. Free Wi-Fi. Free wine in evening. Management was first class. Lobby was super awesome - all marble and glass. Paying $25 to park per day was only... more

We stayed at the Andaz for one night on a stopover in LA, we were jetlagged and cranky, but the Andaz picked up our moods! The hotel is trendy, funky, modern and fresh and the staff are tremendously helpful. The check-in system is great, no waiting at desks here, and to top it all off the big red tourist bus... more

We wanted our first trip back to L.A. to be as good as living there was.. We picked Andaz and could not have done better. We used to live in the Hollywood Hills so location next to The Comediy Club looking up at our old house was perfect. Hotel is as comfortable as it is stylish. Staff has already thought... more

I stayed here with my girlfriend for one night just to get away from the norm for a bit. I'm a travel agent so hotels and what not are my business. The staff offered up a visit to the hotel just to test it's splendors. So I decided to stay for a night and see if they turn the service... more

We stayed one night at this hotel on our return from a trip abroad. The lobby is neat (they call it their "living room" and it's full of people lounging). "Check in" is done with someone sitting on a sofa with you in the lobby, using a lap top. We were upgraded to a city view, which was spectacular. The... more

I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend while in Los Angeles for the wedding of some friends. We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, but I liked it. A little more trendy than I'm used to, but it's LA, so that's to be expected. We arrived after spending a lot of time in traffic. The first sign... more
