The accommodations were comfortable and the linens were fabulous. The hotel service was great, if not a little over-bearing. There was a mix up at the restaurant and our entire order (table of 4) was apparently given to and eaten by another party. The staff sent a (nice) bottle of wine to our table to compensate. The room (cottage) was... More

We stayed a week in May and it was wonderful. The hotel is very glamorous in an old hollywood style. We had a 1 bedroom suite and it was very spacious and plenty of light. The kitchen came well equipped with everything from nice champagne to sake. A small dining table in thekitchen was a lovely touch(where we ate breakfast)... More

I ve stayed one week at the Chateau Marmont hotel, and booked a one bedroom suite. Altough myboking was confirmed, upon my arrival I was told that the suite i ve booked was not available and that I would be transferred to one of the "cottage" bungalows at the pool side until the suite would become free. Because of that,... More

My mother and I stayed at the hotel and had a two-bedroom suite complete with living room and kitchen (with stove from the 20's). Everything is so comfortable and in keeping with the old Hollywood period. Its like stepping back in time. It could be over the top and forced but its just not. We had the most beautiful flowers... I was fortunate enough to stay at the charming and historic Chateau Marmont Hotel and I had a fantastic experience. First and foremost, the staff, specifically the manager, Philip, was helpful, courteous, discreet and knowledgeable, something you don't always get with such a hip and good-looking staff. Let me just say , if you are looking for the "chain hotel"... More

This was the first time I stayed at The Chateau. I always stay at The Beverly Hills Hotel but was traveling with a friend who insisted. I found myself laughing out loud a lot! We had a 2 bedroom suite with a living room, kitchen, dining room, tiny bathroom and small patio. What a joke for $800 a night! The... More

When we decided to try and get a weekend room at the Chateau just a few weeks prior to our trip to LA, I didn't really think we could pull it off, but I was determined to try, and I'm so glad I did. I had to call the hotel directly and then wait for them to call back, which... More

Two of my favorite shirts were stolen from my room. Called hotel three times and was told (each time) they would look into it and call me back. Still waiting for their call. The hotel has great character however rooms, hallways, and pool area in desperate need of renovation. My kitchen had a stove (does anyone really cook here?) which... More

Called to book a room. Exchanged voicemails with the reservation manager who had called me back quickly. Good start. But after calling back repeatedly, couldnt get a call back to book. Told by front desk that only this one person could take reservation. The next week (4 days later), still unable to get someone on phone to take reservation, I... More

We stayed there for three nights as part of our honeymoon and it was a great way to start it off. After getting lost on the way from the airport we arrived hours later and feeling very tired and fed up, we were instantly warmly welcomed and when we got to our room found fresh flowers and a note from...
