Stayed here for two nights. Really nice boutique hotel, feels intimate. Rooftop restaurant, bar, pool, very nice. People who work here are very friendly and helpful. I liked the room very much . . . you know pho french . . . . but well done. I just got on trip advisor to say if the gym is important to... More

Tons of potential but falls short across the board. The room we stayed in was tired with nasty old carpet and drapes that were falling apart from sun damage. The service is so consistently bad that we expected to find a hidden camera crew pop out and announce that it was all a big joke. That isn't to say that... More

Valet/doorman were great. Hotel is nice and quaint. Rooms are cute. Bed linens are very soft, however the bed is pretty stiff. Bathroom is great, amazing bath amenities and wonderful water pressure. The restaurant is beautiful but the service is not so beautiful. Took 35 minutes to get my check, after telling the waiter 3 times. When you are paying... More

To sum up Petit Ermitage in a phrase is tricky but from the moment you turn into Cynthia Street, you realise you've arrived in what can only be described as a sanctuary in the midst of West Hollywood. In fact, it is a sanctuary for hummingbirds - and probably all sorts of other birds too. I was greeted with big... More

This place is fanastic, like a little hidden paradise in Hollywood. Its eclectic and classy, it has such attention to detail, every time you turn around you find something new. The waffles at the roof top restaurant are to die for, and the salmon pita is a perfect light lunch. Everything about this place just makes you feel like you're... More

This hotel packs a flavorful boutique punch. Each detail conveys artistry, culture, hip, and private. The staff are laid back yet highly attentive, the food and drink fantastic, and the rooms bohemian indulgent. Stopped here for one night on advice of a friend and look forward to returning. Especially with my wife for a couple days. The rooftop restaurant, deck,... More

There is so much to rave about this perfect bohemian spot in West Hollywood. Truly a luxury gem where no detail goes overlooked. The lively rooftop bar and lounge provide some of the best views of the city, complimented by a great music and a charming and delicious menu where drinks are called "love potions". Quirky design can be found... More

I booked my parents in and came also for one day, and what can I say.. we loved it :) The hummingbirds in the morning in the garden at breakfast were the most adorable thing. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, the bedding amazing and the bathroom amenities well chosen, I love Le Labo. Sitting on the rooftop and... More

Loved it !!!! We stayed there recently just for few days and completely fell in love with the place. It's been a while I didn't feel like this about a hotel....It has what you are really expecting from a "Boutique" Hotel : very friendly but discrete staff, always ready to help you and check if we were enjoying our stay.... Amazing hotel! My boyfriend and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary by planning a mini staycation. Staying here was hands down the best decision. Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
