The location is excellent with nice views of LA and an amazing pool area on the top roof. Rooms are spacious with a nice seating area. The interior decor of the hotel is amazing and unique. Parking is 31 USD per night. And no coffee materials in the room. But for all that, highly recommended.

Lovely boutique hotel in a great location. Beautiful roof terrace with pool. Unique touches and decor. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Nice, good sized room and nice, clean bathroom. I'm giving 4 stars as I felt the hotel was too busy for the amount of staff (2 on front desk that double as concierge) and the restaurant is a... More

This is not an uber flash hotel, in fact the rooms are fairly tired. But they are comfy and spacious, the hotel is in a great location and boutique, and the roof top pool and bar are perfect for whiling away a sunny LA afternoon with friends

We had a lovely two night stay at Petit Ermitage. The arty interiors, roof top garden and hummingbirds make for a calming oasis away from the hustle of LA. Loved the quirky design and amazing art collection. Also loved the restaurant and cocktails- the Belize was especially good.

Loved this hotel. Feels like an oasis in the middle of West Hollywood! My husband and I went for a long weekend to visit friends and family in LA and figured we would stay at the Petit Ermitage to make the weekend a little more romantic. The rooftop pool and restaurant was WONDERFUL and the perfect place to relax. Elegant... More

What a charming hotel! My husband and I stayed here for one night in August and could not have been more pleased. The hotel was quirky yet chic, the rooms were spacious, and the roof deck was beautiful and relaxing with awesome views of the surrounding hills. Will definitely stay there the next time we're in West Hollywood!

Petit Ermitage sports a that-totally-works vintage resale shop charm. Boho chic if you will. Nothing seems too precious, in fact if you broke something here, one gets the feeling it would be met with barely an "oh well." Take a look under the bushes in the garden, someone chucked some fine china there as part of the decor. The interiors... More

We stayed at Petit Ermitage during our stay in Hollywood and had a great time. The hotel is everything you expect. Fun, quirky, individual yet classy. The room was clean and spacious, the gym could have been bigger and with more equipment, however the rooftop pool did not disappoint. That was what we came for. Laying by the pool with... More

We stayed in over 15 different places on our trip and this was the best hotel we could have asked for on our honeymoon! The rooftop is amazing, especially at sunset! So much character, great location and beautiful room! we arrived to a lovely welcome of a bottle of bubbly and cheese board for our honeymoon! Best hotel in LA!... More

Firstly, the location is fantastic; the neighbourhood is very cool. The hotel is unique, the decor is lovely and the staff are very pleasant. We object however to the fact that children are viewed as second class citizens. Our daughter could only swim in the rooftop pool until midday. Why ? We paid the same prices as everyone else. The... Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
