I'm almost loathe to share this hotel as it was so wonderful, and i'd still like to be able to get a room there! Fabulous rooftop pool and restaurant, tucked away behind Sunset Boulevard. Staff were extremely helpful. Beautiful decor. Can't praise it enough.

I did quite a bit of research on looking for a special hotel with a romantic ambience for our Wedding Night in Los Angeles and decided on booking this Hotel and it was a great decision! The Staff were so friendly and helpful, our Junior Suite was beautiful but the highlight was celebrating with glasses of bubbly on the beautiful... More

Back again at this property, really loved our stay, the rooms are great. the decor is very nice, well thought out, moroccan/antique motifs. Amazing rooftop pool with cabanas and comfy mattresses, beautiful garden restaurant. great bar, awesome service, amazing terrace with a huge fireplace to have a drink in the evening, views of hollywood hills and the design center. this little hotel is located right in weho, but on a quiet off street. the desk staff were super friendly and the cookies are a welcoming touch. the one waiter that was initially rude bc some of us ordered drinks that went beyond 2 ingredients (or he was PMS). he quickly corrected his attitude when bringing the drinks, but you... Fantastic spot in a prime location - one block of santa monica and two blocks off sunset blvd. Great staff and rooms - great styling and overall feel to lobby and rooms. The rooftop restaurant and poolside lounge alone is worth the stay. Staff very kind and pleasant. Would stay again.

It is so hard to explain. The person at the front desk could not be more welcoming. They try so hard to be creative and have fun things on the walls. They have a sitting area by the pool, that is super cool if you are with your best buddies, but I was there for work, so it was werid... More

Hello, Thank you for your review although I am a bit confused after reading it. We have an amazing staff as you have noticed and mentioned. We don't need to try hard to be creative that's just who we are. Are the fun things on the walls you are referring to our art collection? The sitting area around the pool... More

The hotel is overpriced for the things it offers, location included. I didn't find a nice wine list, the rooms are nothing special, I didn't feel free at all, the staff is not very nice and looks unhappy. There are million other places that at these rates offer what we deserve paying for. Never again for sure.

Wow! Petit Ermitage is the best and most beautiful hotel I ever stayd at, and it is even better than the picutres. The decoration, the beautiful view over Hollywood Hills, the restaurant, the garden, the private rooftop, the warm pool - it's perfect in every detail. Its like being in a dream or a mystic ferrytail. I totally love this... More

Any hotel that has alligators (even if they are just sculptures) greeting you is A+ in my book. The place is funky and charming. Our room was spacious with all the amenities I expect from a hotel. Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
